Excellent takeout menu! Seafood dishes are very good, unbreaded, which I prefer. Love the thick noodles. TheCalamari are so good. Generous portions.

Ginger beef tasted like bbq beef... not happy with anything we got.. and surprised no white rice or soy sauce came with the meal... sorry will not be wasting my money there again... but one of the best breaded shrimp...

Food is sub par. Wouldn't consider it Chinese . Sign in their window that says all their staff have been vaccinated .... How about do all your staff know proper handwashing techniques ? Or proper sanitization ? That's what's important .

Red Star Chinese Cuisine
I was in Stonewall looking at a property and decided to then go for dinner. I discovered Red Star restaurant and was glad I had. Excellent menu choices and even better food. I have since returned a few more times just to have dinner here. Wish I could find a Chinese restaurant like this one in Winnipeg.

First time there and not sure would go back. Service was amazing but food. Egg roll had to be squeezed for the amount of grease. Food was in a portion dish rice was dry, and felt like the food was from a box out of the grocery store. Like I said service 10/10, food 4/10

First time I ate here, food wasn't bad... Service wasn't awful. Mediocre place to eat if your not looking for exceptional taste to go along with the price tag.Second time, service was atrocious. The girl who they had at reception didn't seem to really care to be there and so her attitude matched her service. To top things off, I was extremely put off by my food it tasted rotten. Perhaps it was the soy sauce I added. Could have been expired, or some of the vegetables in my deluxe rice had gone bad. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.All in all, I'll probably just stick to Tim Hortons if I ever find myself in STONEWALL again.

We were here for the New Year’s Eve buffet. It was small but very good. There was plenty of food and everything was fresh. The restaurant is pretty small for a buffet though and the tables are really close together almost awkwardly so. The food made up for it though and we were well fed.
