Kintaro Ramen
One of the top 5 ramen place we have tried in Vancouver. We waited for almost an hour to be seated since theres was a long line.We ordered Shio and Miso Ramen plus gyoza. It taste good. We ordered extra corn, seaweed, garlic, and shreded pork.Overall, good price, small but warm place, and super good helpful staff. :)5* to Kintaro Ramen and staff. Thanks!

Pork BBQ is the killer! Epic portion of ramen plus many pieces of chashu. It was really hard not to be satisfied with it.

My absolute favorite ramen in Vancouver. This is one of the first authentic ramen places in Vancouver, and I have been coming here over 20 years. They make good traditional ramen in shio, shoyu, and miso flavour just like the way supposed to be. No tonkotsu, no black sesame, no volcano, non of those. It’s good to try something different every once a while but I keep coming back to Kintaro. Ramen does not have to be complicated or gourmet. This is the ramen I grew up with, slurping for lunch in Japan.

The Shio Ramen eggs are soak in the pork stock for more than one day, the taste are different and good, but the ramen is too salty,

Originally this place has been the most busy ramen restaurant in the lower mainland. Wait time was enormous back then but it seems not too busy these days as standard of Japanese ramen places have risen along with many new place openings. But we still loved their ramen. You can choose richness of soup and how lean or fat your port is. I would say this is still one of the best ramen place in the lower mainland. Go try it. Seating can be little uncomfortable but cozy.

Delicious noodles and broth! I ordered the medium rich broth with and fatty chashu for my miso ramen. The portions are generous for the price.

Kintaro Ramen
Really small, hole in the wall style ramen restaurant. No the best quality ramen in the area of downtown Vancouver but it is still good tasting. We attended for dinner service and there was a wait. The portions are large. The prices are very fair. The menu selection is not bad. They have veggie options and even cold ramen. Would I come here again, probably if I was in a rush, but if I was out for a planned dinner or lunch, likely not.

Make sure you are starving before you wanna venture here. The portions are awesomely large and great tasting. A bit of waiting period but worth it. Friendly staff and fast service once you are seated.
