St. John's Parish

5pm Saturday folk group has excellent and appropriate liturgical music.

This is a Catholic church but everyone is welcome. Beautiful atmosphere inside the church and it has a blessed sacrament at the side. Good parking area. There's a Spanish mass at 12 nn on a Sunday.

This is one of the best churches I have come across in Canada. Very accommodating to families. I like the way kids are encouraged to come to church and have their classes and even participate in the readings and singing. These are our future and we need Christianity to continue. Bravo to the new priest . He is doing a great job.

Great if your a practicing catholic

Very good priest. He is not Italian but he is able to speak dialect from Veneto better than Italians.

The best place to find peace and happiness. God will be there always for you no matter what. Jesus loves you.

our violin and cello duo performed here for a wedding ceremony in September 2012, and it is a beautiful church. Recommended.

My family had the worst experience recently with Father Laszlo, if I could give a zero star I would. I’ll let the readers be the judge. A priest was requested to pray at my deceased mothers bedside at 8pm in Guelph and Father Laszlo attended. He was asked if he could wait 15min for me to get the hospital and he refused stating he had been working since 8am and couldn’t wait. We all found this reprehensible including the hospital staff as this was no way for a priest, a man of God to behave. Priests are known to serve God and their community, with little regard for how much work they have to put in! Father Laszlo, the church and its patrons should be ashamed. This is the exact reason why so many are leaving the Catholic Church, because it’s very apparent that they are not about serving God or their community but only their self indulgent reasons.

I had a good experience of this Church when I participated in the Holy Spirit retreat Saturday May 27, 2023.

Great spiritual experience and the resident pastor is amazing.
