On The Edge Coffee – OnTheEdgeCoffee | On The Edge Coffee is an independent, family-run, Coffee Shop and Roastery. We serve specialty coffee in Downtown Edmonton inside the Old GWG (Arm and Navy) Building, which is now home to the Downtown Edmonton Farmers Market on Saturdays & Sundays. We are also proud announce the Bellwether Roaster has arrived.

I visited On the Edge at the Downtown Farmers Market. Very friendly owner, Jodine. My drip was very aromatic. They have a selection of beans and pastries as well. Roasters are 8 Acres and the Grizzlar. Will have to check them out at the COLAB building during the weekdays.

Jodine shares her expertise on coffee with kindness and enthusiasm offering tastings. As well, she informed us that the coffee @felicecafeyeg is supplied by On the Edge Coffee! This was a first visit to the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market located in what once was the Army and Navy store where I shopped regularly. Now that covid emergency is no more, it is an ideal stop for coffee when visiting the market!

The freshly toasted coffee is nice, but their dairy fridge is a hidden gem. Farm fresh milk, a small selection of cheese and butter. Definitely worth checking out on weekends!

They're pretty much my favourite source of coffee lately. Their $5 coffee and a treat offer is a solid deal, and they do a lot of very nice small lot roasts. I've especially been a fan of any of their Timorese batches.

My husband and I ordered 2 bags of coffee to try a new roaster in town, and were completely disappointed with both bags. The first bag was only OKAY, not great by any means. The second bag was AWFUL - the beans were oily (which means over roasted), which almost broke our very nice coffee grinder, and tasted like garbage. We wound up throwing out over 250 grams of the oily beans because we didn't want to sacrifice our taste buds and our grinder.
