Ellwood Walk-in Pediatric Medical Clinic
Going to this clinic was absolutely great from my phone call to book an appointment to when we left. The secretary called me when their were cancellations to try and get us in sooner. She was very friendly and engaging with my son. The doctor was exceptional with my son. He explained everything to both of us. He answered all my questions and I left there feeling more confident.

They wrote there sign in bold letters WALK-IN. But the don't even answer there phones. Very disappointing. I will give tham 0 star. They don't deserve even 1 star.

Dr. Gangji is arrogant, unprofessional, condescending and thinks his opinions are superior to other professionals. It seems fairly clear he does not cater to your individual child's needs and lumps his observations and opinions in with the general population. Badgering a child to answer a question that they clearly don't know is unethical. He does not deserve a medical license and maybe should be thinking about a career change.

The front end staff is so beyond rude. They booked an appointment with me and told me that they only take newborns, my son is 8 weeks old?I booked an appointment the week before, they phone me this week and she didn't even say hi" or confirmed who I was. Instead she started the conversation off with "why didn't you tell us that he had his 6 week appointment already". While I tried to explain that my son needed a followup with a pediatrician and I was referred to them

UPDATE: Did not take my kids during pandemic...they weren't sick, thank goodness. Called to get check up appt; was told we weren't there for too long and were no longer patients...then they slammed down the phone. Wow.Apparently family atmosphere disappeared due to pandemic, and now I have to find someone new for my kids, who are asking why Dr G wont see them. Unreal._____________I love Dr G. He is the only pediatrician I will let near my children.My oldest used to scream going to other doctors - I have not seen this even once since seeing Dr. G.

One of the worst experiences ever. I literally just called to explain about my sick child and I have an out of province health card for my child and the receptionist literally hung up on me. I event informed her that I was willing to pay whatever the cost was. She’s still a Canadian citizen, I’m shocked and appalled.

We have been seeing Dr. Gangji since my son was born (7 years ago). He now sees both my kids. My kids love going to see him at his office. He is very thorough and takes his time. We never feel rushed and he answers all our questions. We are extremely happy with the care he provides to our children.

I called to bring my 2 year old son in to remove some stitches and was told they don’t “do” that here. Ended up taking him to a walk in clinic instead when they happily removed the stitches no problem.

Used to bring my children here when needed as a walk-in no problem. I’m now told due to pandemic, appt only for walk-ins. Asked for an appt, told have to be a regular patient only….asked if taking new patients, no. My kids have seen him multiple times over the years when we couldn’t get in to our family Pediatrician soon enough. Asked when next appt available, don’t know….working day to day. So, you’re no longer a Pediatric walk-in clinic. Period. Unprofessional receptionist over the phone for the first time in years as well. Too bad, I thought this was a great service you don’t find regularly.

Receptionist was extremely unprofessional and rude. Hung up before I could get a clear answer.When I simply and politely asked for clarity on an appointment, she hung up. Maybe the doctor is decent, but this walk-in clinic is not a walk-in. It is by appointments that you are unable to get.
