Agropur Cooperative (Island Farms)

This isn't product related, it is about their drivers. I work on road, doing traffic control. The driver they have on Rocky Point Rd (Metchosin/Sooke)speeds through my site daily. I have been trying to get him to slow down in my 400 foot zone for the last 3 weeks and he just won't do it. When this started the ELEMENTARY school was still in session. I tried calling the company to do this privately but have not found a way to actually speak to a human. I have had it. Do I actually have to walk their driver through my jobsite at 4 kms an hour? Or put another driver in front of this danger on the road? My frustration level is so bad that I am considering having the police park in the site for this menace to human life. I am actually waiting to hear back from the police as I write this, Agropur, please, I am begging you to deal with him. Today is July 5, 2022 and he came through at just after 11 a.m. Also, please be aware that if he hurts someone that this is considereddocumentation of your knowledge Agropur .

I love island farms! They have the best dairy products I have ever tasted! My favourites have to be their milk and ice cream. I think I have probably tried almost every flavour of ice cream. Plus any of the staff I have interacted with have also been great!I would also like to thank Island Farms for making my ice cream moment happen with my Aunt Joan & cousins Trish, Dustin and Tristan. You helped make such a wonderful memory that I will never forget!

Every so often, I forget and I buy a tub of Island Farms ice cream. Then, as soon as I take a bite, I'm reminded of why I stopped buying their ice cream. For years, every tub, every flavour I have tried has had one thing in common - all Island Farms ice cream has the texture of sawdust. It grips and grinds on your tongue, like you're trying to eat sand. I have never had that experience with any other ice cream. Now I have to throw out another tub of their ice cream. I hope I don't suffer that same amnesia that causes me to buy it again.

I love Island Farms products. I recently bought eggnog and was so disappointed. What happened? It used to be thick and have lots of spice. The carton I bought had the consistency of milk and very little spices. Buying eggnog is my way of starting the holiday season. This was very upsetting.

Beware the whipping cream if you are doing a keto regime. Way too many chemical additives and the carb content is through the roof. We can't get Dairyland anymore, anywhere and it was the best for keto diets.

Products are great...packaging not so much!! Your milk/cream cartons suck! They are flimsy and often leak from the bottom. You have to use two hands to poor from your 1 litre table cream because the carton is so thin and flimsy. So very disappointing. I switched to Dairyland cream even though their milk has a weird ‘Surreyesque’ taste to it. Surrey Slurry I like to call it. Fix your carton problem so I can come back!

*Edited to 3 Star - Awesome Customer Care Service. They asked me for details and send me an explanation letter after 1 week with some Vouchers too !I will Never Ever Buy this Product !! Bought this milk 4 times in last 3 Months, at Walmart. It expired week before the expiration date. I don’t recommend this product. Always boil the Milk so that you will see a change in color as per the pics attached !!

I used to love Island Farm ice cream. Recently, however, they have introduced many new flavours, but they all taste like ice MILK, not ice CREAM. Looking at the ingredients speaks volumes: The lead ingredients in the original flavours were “milk, cream, sugar….”. Now the ingredients are “modified milk products, milk products, sugar….”. No wonder the taste is so markedly inferior! I guess I’ll switch to Breyers, where the first ingredient in their ice cream is CREAM! Too bad, as I’d prefer to support local, but not when they try to pull off stuff like this.

Recently bought vanilla ice cream. Not impressed, it has a very different flavor like chemicals. Definitely not what it used to be.
