Great experience here. I’ve just returned from my first trip since the repairs were made to my boat. From Ladner, up to Sechelt, Nelson Island, Texada, Lasqueti and back. My boat ran strong, straight and no abnormal vibrations.One of my shaft struts had snapped from an impact with a log. Variety Marine was able to remove it and repair it! They removed the shaft and had it straightened. They had the props balanced, replaced the cutlass bearing on that side and checked the shaft and bearing on the other side.Once it was all together they test drove it with me to ensure it was all aligned correctly. The short test run felt great but the real test was out at sea for a few days in a variety of conditions. I am happy to report these guys are real deal mariners and marine mechanics. Ken is an excellent fabricator and welder.
