We sat outside which was lovely. They were busy and food still came quickly and was cooked excellent. Would highly recommend.

We just held a class reunion event here, and I really felt these guys went above and beyond in exactly the right places. The bartender was phenomenal. She was quick, and whenever she had a lull, she’d walk around and take orders in the crowd, which allowed folks to freshen up drinks without leaving good conversation. We were able to reserve half the patio, so they could still have patrons out there, and we had plenty of space. There was a canopy, so the sudden heat and direct sunlight didn’t cause a problem at all. We didn’t provide any food because it didn’t get eaten last time (we used these guys ten years ago, too), but our guests were able to order food off the menu if they wanted to use the event as a dinner event (or cut something extra out of the evening rush to get there). Anyway, I highly recommend you book the patio for any summer mixer events you might be having with a larger group.

While getting gas in Leaburg,Oregon the gentleman at the station recommended Mackey's when we said we were spending the night in Ontario. We decided to give it a try. Glad we did. I had fish & chips ($14) and my wife had the Guinness Chicken ($16). Both were excellent w/large portion sizes. The prices were really reasonable, just a few dollars more than most combo meals at fast food places these days. Danielle, our server, was very helpful and attentive. If we didn't live in Colorado we would be back often......I do wish the coleslaw serving had been larger because it was really tasty!

My wife and I stopped at Mackey's Public House for dinner and were very impressed with everything! Our server was very polite, helpful, and attentive. He took the time to ensure we would be happy with our choices. The beer and food were excellent and the prices were affordable. I had such a great experience I bought a T-shirt.

Great staff, amazing food. #1 place to eat in Ontario for the food and price. Staff was so friendly and made the experience enjoyable along with amazing food. I was so impressed with the price too. The fries are j like any I’ve had and my new favorite kind. The people here are great!

The waitress was very pleasant and the food was Amazing.Calamari and a chicken dish split between 2 of us was plenty!!Prices very reasonable for the delicious food!! Will go back when are in Ontario again.

The absolute best Irish food I've ever had. I had their Jameson chicken on the server's recommendation, and it was amazing. Also, they have a wide selection of local beers and Irish whiskey if that's your thing.

My goodness the hamburgers at Mackey’s are delicious! We travel a lot and have eaten burgers from all over. These were the best we have had in at least a couple of years. My Guinness burger was unique in the best possible way. The fries were also outstanding!They have a covered patio which enabled us to bring our dog, which was nice. It was hot, but much better than eating in our hot camper.Kelsey, our server did a fine job. I didn’t think to get a picture of my burger until it was all messy. Kelsey asked someone who had their burger ready if I could take a picture. Photo is their burger. The meat is thick and locally sourced. Outstanding!

I heard about how great this place was so I thought I would give it a shot and take some family out for it. When I got there, I really liked the atmosphere being Irish-themed.We ordered two appetizers the mozzarella sticks and the shrimp cocktail which came out when all of the other food did. The wait was an hour wait for the food but luckily I had some good company with me. It was hard to get a refill on my drink. The most disappointing part of the experience I would have to say is the food. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger with extra mushrooms and it was cold, not warm either. The burger wasn't extra mushrooms either. I tried other people's dishes and they were disappointed as well. It was overall disappointing to spend 120 dollars on food that wasn't great.
