We had this company come in for a bathroom consultation, and had the most poor experience. The guy was extremely rude, and made snarky comments about the size of our bathroom and how unrealistic our ideas were. At one point, he said well

We reached out to the home improvement people for our bathroom renovation. Elia showed up and was both professional and pleasant. The pricing was as we were expecting which surprised us because our job included a designer and dedicated project manager. From the moment we hired HIP, Gerhard our PM and Charlotte our designer both exceeded expectation. The job started and was completed as promised and without any real setbacks. We were especially impressed by their attention to detail, from demolition to fine finishing, and how they took great care to keep the work area clean and tidy at all times.Igor's tile layout, leveling, and cutting skills were exceptional, and he was able to tackle even the trickiest areas with ease. Raphael was a true jack of all trades, handling everything from installing the water proofing board of the shower to the final touches like painting and trim. Slev's attention to detail was unparalleled, and he made sure every aspect of the renovation was done to perfection. The plumber was also fantastic, ensuring that all the plumbing work was done correctly and efficiently, he had no issue effortlessly replacing the lead pipe from our toilet to the stack.We were so grateful that there were no surprises when it came to the final bill, as The Home Improvement People provided us with a detailed quote upfront, and any changes were discussed with us and documented in a signed change notice. This level of transparency gave us peace of mind and helped us avoid any unexpected costs.Overall, we could not be happier with the outcome of our bathroom renovation. The team doing my bathroom renovation, Nadia, John and Elvis, were incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, very skilled and easy to work with. They tidied up at the end of each day and before I knew it the bathroom was completed on the eighth day. It looks great and was left spotless. Thanks, too, to Gerhard for his help and guidance. Company highly recommended.

We had our whole main floor done, running about the $100k mark. The HIP made our 'modular' kitchen look custom to our most desired liking. They have an awesome contracting team in every trade! Everyone working on your home will be polite, professional and willing to talk about what they are doing for you. They finished our project a few months ago, but they came back at the drop of a dime to fix a minor issue with existing hvac work we noticed after we started using the heat. It wasn't entirely their responsibility to fix it, but they didn't hesitate to do so anyway. We will be using HIP for any future project and would recommend them to anybody!

We were extremely happy with the amazing quality of our bathroom renovation, and also with the process during the work. We completely changed layout (see before and after), and it was a challenging job, but the team stayed on schedule and was able to work around the issues found under the floorboards. Nadia, John and Cornell were an all-star team, very respectful of our space, efficient, friendly and exceptionally skilled. Every detail of the bathroom is immaculate, and we could not be happier with the result! Thank for an amazing job!!

We had 4 estimates for our washroom before we met with The Home Improvement People. When Elia came in he really took his time with us and answered all our questions. He was very transparent on timing and he walked us through the whole process. Gerhard our site supervisor didn't let us down. He was wonderful and very informative. The crew was clean, professional and on time. I would recommend THIP to anyone looking to reno.

We were so impressed with everything starting from our initial communication. Haydee at the office was so professional in dealing with booking and billing. Big thanks to The HIP! I had this company renovate my WHOLE house. We are so happy that we picked The HIP to be our contractor. Biggest thanks goes to Danny. Danny was the site supervisor and did most of the work on the house. He did a great job handling this place and worked tirelessly to make it look good. Others include Elia & Charlotte. Everyone did their part to contribute and make sure my renovation got done well. Thanks team! Elia was great to work with. Solid guy. He made things very to the point and easy for us - which is exactly my style. We are very pleased and are in good spirits.
