Had the prawns with coconut curry and it was the best. Our waitress was amazing. So helpful and knowledgeable. She understood celiac disease and cheerfully told us they have a designated fryer! Parking was right next to it and so easy to pay.

Delicious food, awesome staff and views! When we went for dinner here, they were short staffed and yet the staff were friendly and kept things moving. A very enjoyable dinner!

This place had great food, service and views. We had pizza which was pretty good, not my absolute favourite but pretty good. Then we had the popcorn which was delicious and I had the cauliflower wings which were amazing!

Gluten Free food is hard to find in beautiful Victoria so I was excited to try Lidos. After walking 45 minutes from my hotel to collect my pizza, I joyfully strutted back to my room, pie in hand. I blazed past the poor folks standing around at other establishments feeling very chuffed with my recent purchase. I should also mention I’ve been camping for a few days and this was my first re-entry into civilization with all its culinary delights. I am sure you can image my disappointment when I plopped down in my hotel and peeled open the lid to find the smallest most pathetic pizza I’d ever seen. Tiny, wet pizza with rock hard crust and wilted basil stared back at me. The pizza was so small in fact that it slid to one of the four corners of the box and I almost missed it altogether. I looked for cheese, but none was found. Just sauce. Wet, cold sauce. The fact that they are charging an extra 3.5 from this rock hard crust is a slap in the face. Beyond annoyed.

Enjoyed a Greek Goddess Pizza, Chicken Wings, and Halibut Taco tonight at Lido's Waterfront Bistro. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back. The staff was super friendly. The outside seating is so pleasant on a warm summer night.Our spiced right hot wings came out extremely quick. If you want Ranch dipping sauce it will cost you 50 cents more. The chicken wings were crisp on the outside and flavorful inside. The pizza had a fresh marinara sauce with mild feta, olives, and artichokes. I enjoyed the pizza ~ and it is large enough to feed 3 women.The halibut fish taco has a nice sweet and spicy touch. My husband said it was the best fish taco he had eaten!I had a gin cocktail with cucumber, mint and lime. I would not order again just because the cucumber dominated the flavors too much. Hubby was happy with a regular margarita. All in all we walked away very happy.

Artisan-style pizza and lots of choice of pizzas, great views of the water - we even saw a seal whilst we were eating! We had the mushroom pizza which was delicious and the servers were very friendly and accommodating. Four stars only because the food was a little slow and the ambience inside was slightly dingy.

A place that DOESN'T serve French fries!!And I enjoyed my visit!Highlights:Reasonable pricesNice patio viewDog friendly patioPretty tasty foodRoomy, Accessible washroomsConsider:Could get busy because of the nice location if pursuing patio seatingFewer washroomsFriends and I went on a Sunday, at noon- it opens at noon, and we had no problem grabbing a table for four. The menu is a good size- definitely give it a look. Two of my friends got the nachos- with added protein. They usually like their nachos over-done, and my friends were pleased with their food. I had a bite of nachos with the added chicken- I highly recommend that, for sharing or solo! The chicken was quite reasonably sprinkled over the nachos with some love, not just lightly. It was tasty, not too salty for me.Now please excuse my photos- the blue umbrella really adds a colour filter, and everything looks so blue! I had potato salad as a side to my chicken wings- it was a normal potato salad. Absolutely enjoyed the Louie Blue flavour of the wings though, which had a very slight heat- my friend that is sensitive to spicy flavors could tolerate it well. It was very flavourful. My only complaint (all comes down to preference?) Is that the generous and lovely sauce removed the crispness of the chicken wings. But the sauce made it up for the lack of crisp. Server was wonderful, able to check in on us as the customers started arriving more and more.I would come again, to sample the pizza- it looked appetizing!

This place used to be great years ago, but the current staff spend more time chatting with their friends than actually working. The result is it takes over an hour to get a single drink. The service is atrocious. This was not a one-time experience, this has happened three times in a row. Certainly won’t be back.Edit: so I came back a year later and man, the service is still brutal. Takes half an hour to get a beer. The beer is warm and flat. I’ll stop trying to come here. Used to be great years ago but it just isn’t happening anymore.

The nachos were simply delicious and hearty. Very friendly service but took a little extra time to order and get food. Dog friendly! It overlooks the harbour. Delicious cocktails- the orange margarita was great!

Good friendly and kind servers, nice outdoor seating, and clean toilet. Food overall is good. In my first visit, I ordered Donair Pizza and it seemed nice. 2nd visit, I brought my family. Ordered the same Pizza but instead of Beef/lamb meat, it had lots of Liver slices. First 2-3 bites were nice but then as with liver, it became difficult to swallow as it wasn’t appetizing anymore. How come beef-liver is served instead of the meat when the menu states: Beef/Lamb…. It didn’t mention liver anywhere….We realized only after eating more than half of our pizza and decided to leave without making any fuss…My daughters ordered Sprite but they got Soda water that was bland… we told the server, and they brought another glass with Can-Sprite. Why wasn’t that done earlier? Coke wasn’t too bubbly either as it had way too much ice diluting it too much!
