Had a great experience at sushi gin for omakase. Our chef was attentive and funny, really made our experience that much better. He explained what he was serving us, and took time to answer our (numerous) questions. The atmosphere was chill and fun — another group was celebrating their birthday and the entire restaurant joined in to sing them happy birthday.

Went for Dinner with my husband, we are huge fan of Omakase. This is definitely the best Omakase Restaurant in Toronto. Our chef was Kevin he’s the BEST chef and friendly that we met! Every cut and bite was perfect, it’s like a art! Highly recommend!! Service was good and attendant, food was Extraordinary AMAZING! Price is average. Definitely will comeback again and again!!

This place was delicious! I would die to go there any day! The people attending us were super nice! The idea of the sushi on a conveyer was smart! Not to mention, the food tasted amazing! There were many selections of sushi to choose from! I got the fried avocado roll, it was delicious

Great food and service ! The fish was really fresh, and had a good selection of sakes available. The chef and staff there were very friendly and catering. Not to mention, the renovation and atmosphere was upstanding. I enjoyed my experience there and would definitely visit again.

Came here a few nights ago with a friend and was pleasantly surprised! Sushi was fresh, the service was great, and the ambience was overall amazing. Kevin, our chef, made our experience very enjoyable. My favourites were the Uni, the housemade Tamago, and the ice-wine icecream which was very unique. Will definitely come back another time to try different seasonal items :)

Amazing omakase experience here at Sushi Gin with Chef Kevin Li.Beautiful dining room design, atmosphere and comfort.Service was top notch by all the servers and staff.With their omakase menu starting at $170/ person, this is one of my top choices in the area. They also offer a wide selection of carefully selected sake and Japanese beers and whiskeys also available to better your dining experience.All the ingredients were fresh and handled with care. The presentation and delivery by Chef Kevin Li was wonderful. Each item was well explained and plates cleaned up after.Thank you for the amazing experience, hope to visit again soon!

Came here my first time with my boyfriend. Awesome experience at this sushi omakase restaurant with excellent customer service. The Akimo is so fresh with levels of flavours. Chutoro tastes as good as expected. My favourite was the Ebi + Uni and Cod + Caviar. The surprise for the night was the ice wine icecream with the Japanese melon, light and flavourful. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Wow, did not expect this quality of sushi here in Toronto. The sushi is fresh and the selection is wide, it's as if you were dining in Tokyo. Very excited to see what they have to offer next time I'm there! The staff were very professional, the chef would also introduce each piece and explain where it was sourced from. The seating is also very spacious. Great experience and I'd love to visit again!
