Italian Star Deli

Amazing sandwich and chippers. Have not been here in years. I thought I would check out the new place on Saturday. I'm glad I did. Great service and food. They should bag up those rosemary chippers for commercial sale. They are so good.

This establishment offers delicious sandwiches and other menu items. However, I would appreciate it if all of the deli preparers wore gloves during sandwich preparation. Despite their diligent hand washing practice, it can be discomforting to observe sandwich preparation without gloves.

Italian Star Deli was already a not so secret crown jewel of Regina before they moved, and they have adapted to their new place brilliantly. They have pastas, oils, olives, cheeses, deli meat, condiments, cookies, breads, pastes, purees, sauces, and twenty other things I've forgotten. Their sandwiches are next level. Their coffee bar is great. Most importantly, every staff member you talk to treats you like you're their best friend. Carlo and family, you've knocked it out of the park, as if there was ever any doubt.

Always love my visit to Italian Star Deli but can we talk about the new dogs tho.... awesome! My fav part? Def the hot food and delicious at the back. Best paints ever still! Go get ya some, like now, goooooo

What a wonderful place! The food is fresh the sandwiches are amazing and the people are very nice! I specifically don’t eat meat and the accommodate me with a vegetarian sandwich which was delicious. They also have Italian fresh, baked bread, different deli, cheeses, and meat, different kind of pasta and spaghetti, candies, amazing, Olive Oil in much more. In the next month, they are moving to a new location which is located right across than the old place.

This place is 6 stars out of 5. The best Italians sandwiches in the country! We had the marble rye with the standard mix of meats, but they also offer vegetarian and vegan options. If you like spicy get the spicy mix. OMG, what a flavour explosion!!! It’s been a while since we came so we were surprised to see a new building. It’s great to see small businesses like this one expands and thrive. Outstanding all the way.

A busy Regina institution, and it did not disappoint! I tried the pickle sandwich medium and a hot on Ciabatta to take home. The sandwiches made the wait in the line-up worth it. I will return and try more of the delicious offerings.

Carlos and family do an amazing job, amazing deli and sandwiches, amazing groceries...just damn awesomeUPDATEThe new store is absolutely stunning and it is drawing customers like crazy. So, parking on the side of the building is at a premium..heads up warning.The in-store experience is exactly that..an experience. So much more stuff all laid out in great fashion and so much more room! The best of both worlds! The nice part is, they planned for more people and have at least 2 cashier lanes now. Hot and cold food counters with all kinds of panini, calzone, and other favourites. Or they have fresh sandwiches in the stand-up open cooker section just off to the east of the counter. Much bigger meat counter with more stuff. If Carlos keeps this up, he will have to expand again!Sorry,I only managed a few pics.

The new facility is great and I love how they have separate areas for the deli and sandwiches/fresh foods and bigger aisles to shop.The new facility doesn't feel like a local business, more like a big chain grocer. Growth comes with owning a business, and I will always be a customer, but it just doesn't feel the same.
