Owner very nice. Good size sites with room between them, well maintained and level. WiFi available which was great as cell service intermittent. Big rig friendly. Close to highway so convenient but a bit noisy.

Spent two nights in a 30 amp pull-thru FHU site in our 5th wheel. Liked the rustic feel of the campground. Like others have said it is a blast from the past, but well cared for. The owner made us feel at home upon checkin. Since it is located right off 97, there is road noise, but it was a convenient location to visit the bakery in Lac La Hache & groceries in 100 Mile House. We had no phone service, but the internet provided was good.

First, is the friendliness of the owner, John. Even during the hard times, he makes you feel so welcome. You would think we had been neighbors for years. Fantastic bathrooms/showers in that they are both very clean and spacious. Also, a very nice sauna. Check it out; we doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great place to pitch up your tent! The sites are quint but grassy! The owner was super nice. Had a nice area inside where you can wash your dishes. The showers and toilets were great! Clean and nice music playing as well :-)

Awesome place to stay! We spent a couple of nights at the former KOA campground in late August, 2022. The place is super clean, relaxing and well worth the visit. The owner John is a real character and a pleasure to speak with. If you like retro 1970" you will love the features of the campground as not much has changed since it was built! The campground is well maintained with lots of cool things.....a laundry mat with 25 cent dryers and a "blast to the past" store inside the office. The charm and character of the campground is nice feature. Looking forward to coming back for more stays!Rick & Cathy"

What a great stop! Stayed for 2 nights at the end of July. The pool was fantastic and the little hike out the back was fun for the whole family. Not far from 108 Mile and a fruit stand is within walking distance. Friendly owner and clean sites. Love the pull through! Highly recommend.

I didn't think much of this campground, but the set up was way above standard. The washrooms are clean, the sites are well maintained and the wifi is moderate speed. John is an excellent host and I'd strongly recommend stopping by BIG Country Campground for a night or two. 5 stars!!

Great stop-over place! Clean, well kept, with plenty of amenities such as a little pool, a rec room with table tennis and a pool table, laundry, excellent showers, laundry. The host, John, is laid back and meticulous-a rare balance. A bit noisy from the highway but you know that driving in.
