Very patient, kind instructors. They were great with my 7 year old. We tried the free family class and had fun. We'll definitely be taking more classes.I think it will great way to have family time and gain skills

My son and I have been attending Lim Kenpo Karate for a year now. We absolutely love it there. Professor Coree, Instructor Kyle and all of the other instructors are so awesome! They are great with kiddos. It’s a big family and we love it!!

Our family or four (from a 10 year old through a 42 year old) have been attending for around six months now. The instructors are amazing and very patient and knowledgeable.I am already seeing a difference in myself (both in balance and in flexibility) but more importantly I am seeing a difference in my children. While they are still gawky and gangly, especially the teenager, they have better control of their bodies and are more comfortable and sure of themselves and their movements.We attend the family night classes which allows us to stay close knit as a family and to help each other and practice with each other. I would highly recommend this for anyone in the Black Hills area.

I’ve been training under the Lim Family System since 2016, and in my experience, Lim Hawaiian Kenpo is so much more than a martial arts school. The course curriculum is focused on self-defense, but also includes traditional martial arts forms and sparring. The school offers both youth and adult classes, and is extremely family focused. During the course of your training, you can expect to become more knowledgeable in real-life applications of self-defense, gain confidence in yourself and your abilities, and improve your discipline. And did I mention, get in better shape both physically and mentally, and make friends with some of the nicest people in the Black Hills!Lim Hawaiian Kenpo offers so much more than just training on the mat. Many of our students help and organize community events that benefit local causes to make the Black Hills a better place to live. This is why I love training at this school. I’ve become a better member to my community, as well as improving my health and self-defense abilities. Both Professor Coree and Instructor Kyle are true martial artists. They are both tough in a good way, and deeply care for all of their students. You can tell that both of them seek to model the life style of martial arts in a virtuous manner. I am not ashamed to say that I prayed for teachers like them.
