Canine Companions Rescue Center
Tried to adopt a puppy that was labelled a black Labrador retriever, but after applying they changed him to be a lab-pit mix which is against my apartment's lease.Hope he goes to a good home, but to just rug pull someone like this is just terrible.

Arbitrarily add on breeds, like pit bull, to a puppy, lab retriever, which they weren't even sure of which also wasn't listed previously on their site. Feels like a discrimination towards those in apartments

Our family has rescued 3 dogs from this rescue. Each experience was great. The community of foster homes and network of partners and adoptees they have built speaks so highly to the character of this awesome organization. 2 years later we have continued to participate in the many fun charity events that they have organized to help raise money for reduced dogs and to find them fur-ever homes as well as fund the best medical care for the dogs that they recieve. The members are all very passionate about improving quality of life for the dogs they are recieve. I'm very proud to have this rescue in our community!

An amazing organization! I have been fostering for them for a year or so now and have seen so many amazing situations where they took downtrodden, broken, sick dogs and puppies and turned their lives around and made then whole, happy dogs again! Please donate or get involved if you can :)

Canine Companions Rescue Center
The staff and this rescue center are true heros. They foster unwanted dogs and adopt them out after an interview process. They truly care about the animals they foster and also help many other community shelter and rescue centers. We adopted our baby puppy (she will be 4 soon) and she is the apple of our eye. I would highly recommend working with this great group of people. They are awesome!!!!

They will take the time to ensure the new furry family member you are selecting is the right one for your home for both you and for the furry family member. Canine Companions Rescue Center was amazing to work with. The responded to our application very quickly and worked with us to set up a time for us to meet our Morgan the same day. They were thorough in explaining to us his situation and make sure we were a great fit together. We look forward to working with them in the future again.

We adopted our furbaby through CCRC. It was a great experience! Because CCRC volunteers worked so closely with the dogs, they were able to give us an idea of what issues we may encounter with our dog before we adopted him, helping us make an informed decision. They even helped us find the perfect trainer to work with us! I would definitely recommend CCRC to anyone considering adopted a dog.

I adopted two of my dogs from this rescue. The process was seamless! They were quick to respond to my application, and didn’t discriminate against me not having a fence which is an issue I ran into with other rescues. I really appreciated the friendliness of the volunteers who helped me adopt my fur baby. The adoption fees were very reasonable. All dogs are completely vetted and also come with a free vet visit to one of their partner vets.

Wonderful organization. I have adopted 2 dogs through CCRC. My first was a puppy in 2009 and the 2nd is a rescue in 2020. Both times the adoption procedure was easy and the volunteers were amazing to communicate with.
