Waited an hour and was changed $11 to dump 7 bags of leaves… you mulch the yard waste and sell it. Why are you charging for this?

I tried to call and the number goes to City Hall?? So don't call on a Saturday or Sunday because that says they are closed. Very confusing but then again any government run business is not designed to be user friendly to the public.

Took a load of garbage there Saturday, short line, but that was ok. The line move quickly, and the operator sent us up to the bins. We unloaded a whole 6'x14' trailer of garbage in a few minutes and headed back to the scales $52. Worth every penny to be rid of it!

The $25 minimum charge now is absolutely ridiculous. The dump I used when we lived in Niagara was $5.The $10 fee for yard waste now is also absolutely ridiculous on something that they turn into compost and then profit off of anyways. They make getting a second roadside green bin a nightmare as you have to contact city hall and get approval, then buy them for $80 each.I'm glad I'm moving out of St. Thomas.

Very handy to have this recycling center near us. The staff there are really nice. Best not to go just when they open in the morning because there'll be a big lineup. I was there today at around 12:30 and there was no lineup.

Well laid out, organized, and clean... not worried about getting a flat tire here. Staff is nice, they moved people through quickly. You unload your item yourself. They take all sorts of items, yard waste, construction materials, hazardous material. Costs for some, free for some. Impressive place.

Taking a load to the dump... or rather, the Community Recycling Centre" signals the end of a project. You've gotten something done! The visit is a matter of closure as I relax and listen to the radio in line: satisfied that not only is the work complete but I got rid of the waste too. And this is a fine operation staffed by VERY friendly and helpful people. Yes

Staff suggested I drop off my dysfunctional freezer to a metal yard. Instead of paying a fee for disposal, I got money back from the metal disposal yard instead of paying for a disposal fee. Thanks for the suggestion.

Massive lineup, not well run. Could have 1 person sorting at entrance and avoid the scale line up if it's not needed. Traffic criss crosses which is not safe. Took 10 minutes just to get in the driveway. St.thomas you can do way better. Maybe you should look at London and fix yours.....
