La Capital Tacos
I finally got to try birria tacos for the first time and this was a great place for it. We were staying nearby and happened upon it with no wait for a table on the night we arrived to town. When we were leaving there was a line up out the door waiting for a table.The drinks here were great, as well.

Guacamole is super fresh here! Their tacos are full of flavors, especially with the homemade spicy sauce packed in the red container ! You have to try it out! Also Their cocktail menu will be fun to discover if you'd like to chill in this little restaurant! Definitely will be back !

Food is authentic and delicious! You have to try the quesabirria and ribeye(asada) tacos. Shrimp were good too but I'd come back for the first two.

A liked the cool theme mixing the Asian plates with the Mexican food. Pays homage to being in Chinatown. As for the food, I love birria tacos - however, these are not really prepared the way that I normally have them. The beef did not seem infused with the flavor of the consomme like I am used to and nor was the tacos shell fried with the consomme sauce. The consomme I would have like it to have a bit more kick to the flavor. The ribeye tacos were the better of the two in my opinion. The price was OK and servers were nice. I have not been to other Mexican restaurants in Montreal and my comparison is based on experiences in various other cities/countries.

Hidden gem in the middle of ChinaTown! A unique spot in where you suddenly transition from one culture to another. Greeted by smiles and nice music, you can directly smell the juiciness of what’s coming. Amazing traditional appetizers highlighting the tasty (and unlimited!) tortilla chips with sides of guac and bean stew. Mouthwatering tacos all over the menu alongside a variety of burritos and quesadillas to choose from. Cocktails are on point and the Jarritos sodas are a must try! Cosy urban venue where you can enjoy great time and great good with great people.

Since the restaurant was so busy, it took quite a bit of time before they came to guide us to a table. The service was however actually pretty friendly and fast. After ordering our food, it took less than 10 minutes for them to bring us our meals. Even though the portions seem small, they are quite filling. The food itself tasted great. The shrimp tacos had a great balance of texture and a great balance of flavours. The beef quesadilla served with the cheese inside was simply wonderful with the two flavours complementing each other. The pork taco was the only one that was a bit too dry and not as tasty. The guacamole was also flavourful and it was served with very crispy chips which was great.

my friend and i had a 3 course meal, it was so good. we even took dessert at the end (their tres leches cake is soo good). service was good and it was pouring outside. we came at 5:03pm and there was already lots of people.

Everything was very tasty and traditional. We ordered Guacamole and Chips as appetizer and they were enough to start with. After that we got 3 quesabirrias ,which were my personal favourite, pastor tacos and carnitas tacos. For 3 people it was enough food to share and fill satisfied. The service was amazing and quick. The place felt cozy and it was very clean as well.I will definitely come back when I’m in Montreal!

This place is in Chinatown it's crazy but Awesome! It has rustic look and food is really good. Salad was fresh and crunchy and quesidilla was juicy and flavourful w/birria! Good place!
