The Thruflow panels are a poor design and to be honest dangerous with the fiberglass fibers. The product is advertised as maintenance free and lifetime, and if you have any trouble we will stand behind our product, and unfortunately all three are untrue. I have been trying to work with thruflow for 2 months and my only solution given is to purchase new panels for $3300.00.

Customer service is very poor we are having horrible problems with fiberglass exposure live on a lake so the dock is useless for children and adults horrible itching and rashes developing called customer service asking how I could correct the problem but no response

I purchased a dock in 2013 that had ThruFlow panels. We really like the panels...great to walk on and low (no) maintenance. This year (2018) we noticed a couple of cracks and then we had a section break when someone jumped off the dock. After first contacting the dock sales person they suggested I notify ThruFlow which I did. I was told what I needed to provide (basic stuff...photos of damage, original invoice, etc). Within about a week they shipped me, not only replacements for the damaged panels, but 40 panels to cover my complete dock. Apparently they had improved the panels since mine were produced and provided me the newest version due to the failed panels. The original panels had a 12-year warranty and ThruFlow came through fully. Thank you!!

A Thru flow dock salesman out of Grand Rapids, MN sold my family a dock. Right away we started having issues with fiberglass slouching off. I called thru flow in Canada because the man who sold it to us went out of business. The company admitted this is a known manufacturer issue but since out warranty has expired they wouldn't fix it. This is only after five months of being jerked around and being told they would cover it. Now every time we walk on the dock if you don't have shoes you get feet full of fiberglass shards. We can't have our pets on the dock not can you kneel without getting fiberglass in your jeans. Terrible experience and a waste of $4,000.

Thru flow has great customer service, and deal with warranty issues professionally.

My dock was from 2006 and so was informed when trying to make a warranty claim that I was 2 years past warranty which apparently is true despite being sold on it lasting a lifetime but apparently only came with 12 year warranty. It doesn't change that this is a poor product or manufactured wrong. I am having similar issues to others with fiberglass fibers getting into skin - which makes having a dock by the lake pretty useless when you can't put bare skin on it without getting bumps and itching for the next few days. When you buy this product you are buying it for longevity and so you don't have to replace dock panels every 10-15 years.. but apparently that is not the case so not sure why I paid the premium for their product. I would buy cedar the next time - at least I know what I am getting and to expect. Then I am not dependent on a company selling me on benefits of their product only to be told I am beyond warranty and that I now I should buy their new product which doesn't have this problem. They did offer to put me in contact with dealer for their product thinking they might be able to provide some relief on replacing but nope... just retail pricing... thanks for providing me the same information and pricing I could have found myself on google and calling. My recommendation - go cedar and avoid this product/company.Anyone considering this product should read their lifetime warranty and pay attention to this statement Color fading and fiberglass exposure resulting from the natural weathering process are excluded from this warranty." - and then decide for yourself if you want to trust their comments to other complaints that their new products don't have this problem...."

Useless warranty on this product. You shouldn’t have to dismantle your entire dock to provide proof of warranty. Disappointing.
