Noticed an employee Noel aghajan, goes out and attacks people for their beliefs online. Instead of defending the establishment this person berates a woman and her profession. People like this need reprimanding before being a part of the community. Is this an inclusive environment? But the bartender can abuse women online?

Showed up with my girlfriend and some friends for the first time not knowing it was a LGBTQ+ bar, was a little intimidated at the performances but ended up having an awesome time! Can’t remember the bartenders name, but I think it was Alex(?). Either way, the service was phenomenal and the people were super chill to party with! Would recommend!

Went here for the first time because a friend invited me, and this is by far my favourite club in Hamilton. Everyone here is so friendly. No one is trying to start fights..just have fun and dance, be happy. Went for new year’s eve amazing experience! always wanted to go to a drag show ❤️❤️

This place is incredible as are the performers and staff.Not all shows are everyones cup of tea - like any performance anywhere, but the variety weekly means you can usually find something for you - and they post the different events to insta weekly.

Performer Kenadie St. James came up to my South Asian friend during a set and said she looked like 'the girl from Encanto,' imitated a dance from the movie in front of her, and asked 'do you speak English' when she did not respond. Additionally asked if I was part of the (LGBTQ) community, I said yes, and she responded 'so you you kissed one girl in high school and think you're part of the community?' and indicated that she believed I was too feminine-presenting to be a lesbian. I was really surprised to hear that in a queer space. She kept revisiting our table when we were clearly uncomfortable, and followed us when we tried to leave/continued to interrogate us about our rationale for leaving when we indicated that we wanted no confrontation - multiple times. Her actions incited aggression in the audience towards my friends. She did not attempt to de-escalate, instead asked my 20 year old girlfriend if she 'wants to fight.' This was all said and done mic-in-hand during the performance. Even if these actions and statements were meant to be comedic or 'didn't have bad intentions,' they were unacceptable and insensitive to the fact that we were clearly upset and uncomfortable, and just really poor performer etiquette. It makes me and my friends scared to go back there, which is disappointing because it's one of the only explicitly queer spaces in Hamilton.We want to thank the manager who called us to apologize and told us that this particular performer would not be coming back to The Well; we hope that's true.

Awesome performance and events, good dancing floor. Air conditioning need some serious work people have to go out to cool down every ten minutes when dancing.

My partner and I have been here twice: once for a ticketed special event that we really enjoyed, and again this past weekend after having dinner nearby.The good: events are well organized, music good, environment comfortable.The bad: the wine and food service. The wine: not what was listed on the menu, but it was a very identifiable brand. We didn't like the Pinot so switched to the Chardonnay. Both were terrible , and tasted identical, which is even harder to explain.We ordered pizza on both occasions, and waited quite a while before it arrived. On the most recent visit, it took over an hour. The pizza place is literally connected to the bar.I'm glad there's a queer venue in Hamilton that fills an obvious need in the community.Focus on the basics, tho - customer service and quality of food and drink.

The staff, and entertainers here are always the loveliest. Drinks are great.Want to commend security, and staff, for dealing with an unruly guest so quickly and efficiently last night. Despite the guest’s best efforts, and another patron involving themselves then taking credit for “handling the situation herself” (even though she very much escalated it).Thanks for keeping our queer space in Hamilton safe & fun.
