Vetrica

Vetrica moved here 19 Sep 22 from Primrose Lane, Rosyth. It's the old McColls shop next to Rowlands Pharmacy.The new building is much more spacious and the waiting room is bigger. All looking lovely and sparkling clean. Bob and the other vets always take good care of our dogs. The health plan for dogs is good value and clients benefit from a 10 % discount on purchases including competitively priced dog food. There are 2 car parks 2 minutes walk away across the road.

I recently had to take our cat to be put down and Juan handled the time for us. He was so softly spoken, professional and matter of fact and gave me plenty of time to say goodbye. He was exemplary in his handling of the situation, especially as the tears were streaming down my cheeks and I wasn't able to say much. The lady on reception was so kind and lovely and helped me through the cremation process. Roll on a bit and we rehome two young cats: 7 months and a year old. One of the vets discovers a hernia in the older one. The operation takes place on Monday by one of the female vets and she appears to have done a great job. Today, it was post-op check-up and it was Juan. He was very informative, answered all my questions and was great with my cat, who has had a rough start in his life. In the past, I've also seen Bob, the owner, whom I would describe as an old school vet: someone that uses his knowledge and techniques rather than jumping straight to offering technological solutions, which may not be needed. All in all, very happy to recommend Vetrica. In an emergency/out of hours, Vetrica seem to have paired up with Inglis. I had to take our previous cat to them after she injured her paw on a Saturday. The service there was also first class.

Was very happy with service but feel long like all vets are pricing us lower income out of owning pets .and no options to pay it up as a single mum working full time it's is hard to come up with £340 unexpectedly.Friends staff and vet

Brilliant vets. Sad that we had to say good bye to our Rabbit but they were empathetic and supporting.

Cannot rate Vetrica highly enough. Staff are brilliant and very attentive. As we have Guinea Pigs, I was apprehensive about choosing a vet as I thought it may have been better to register with a “specialist exotic vet”, however, we chose vetrica and I have no regrets! On the unfortunate occasions we’ve had to take them to the vet, the staff have been amazing and our piggies have been treated with the utmost care.I’ve been to another highly rated vet in Dunfermline and there’s no comparison in the quality of care our little potatoes have received.

Usually I am a massive advocate for vetrica and especially cova who has been the best vet I’ve came across in a long time. I’ve taken all my family pets there for years.For telling my friend who has an extremely ill rat that she doesn’t want to see her is shocking. I’ve had a rat pts in Kelty before with no issues.It’s a shame whoever is in today as you’ve just lost another loyal client.All animals deserve love and care regardless of the type of animal.Cova is not the vet involved - I just purely think she is a lovely person and has done a lot for us throughout the years and helped save many of our pets.
