Wellwise by Shoppers

Called many times on operation time but didn’t response. It’s totally unprofessional!

I would strongly recommend this Shoppers Wellwise!! A huge thank you to Peter at Shoppers Wellwise at Main and Danforth. I am speechless and pleasantly surprised with your willingness to help us.Thank you for going above and beyond and far out of your way for helping my 88 year old mom. Your generosity and customer service is very appreciated! I wish there was a better way to thank you! I hope good Karma finds you and gives you good fortune for your thoughtfulness!!

I've been calling multiple times daily for over 1.5 weeks to enquire on item stock. They never answer the phone nor call back despite leaving VMs. Poor customer service.

Came in with my mother to get her a walker. The customer service was shockingly bad. We came back a second time with the OT to make sure we didn't leave without a walker. Even our OT was surprised by how rude and unhelpful the staff were. Shameful that they would treat our vulnerable population this way. Had my mother not had a support team she would still be without a walker.

Very bad customer service, the staff bicker amongst themselves as they serve customers. Unprofessional to say the least. My 94 yr old mother purchased a Nexus walker from this store. One of the brakes broke down on the 2nd day. I took it back to the store right away and was told that it will be sent out to be repaired. I called the store on Thursday (4 days after dropping it off) and was told that it was just picked up yesterday. I found the Wellwise head office contact and called to inquire. It turned out to be head office for Shoppers Drug Mart which owns Wellwise. They could not help me and told me to call the Wellwise store. Shortly after the store called to inform me that the walker was not in fact picked up but was still in the store and the new hand brake was ordered and will be installed in the store when it arrives. I asked for the name of the manufacturer and was told that they don't know. I tracked down the manufacturer by calling other stores that sell this walker. All in all a very frustrating experience.

The manager of the store is very bad. I was to have the colour changed on my walker but not done. When I finally picked up the original colour walker I found that it was defective. She was bound and determined that I must take it. The right locking system was not working. I did eventually get another walker but was done with another person.

Went in for a ankle brace for a sprained ankle and Jodi was so knowledgeable and friendly. Had a great experience and found the perfect item to help my ankle.

I made a visit to this store to pick up a couple items in a rush. I didn't notice at the time that there was an item at the top of my bill that I had not purchased (or even seen). I came back at the first opportunity (four days, during COVID), and hoped for an apology, and instead I was made to feel like I was trying to scam the store, and that they would accommodate me this time". I'm sure if they took the time to check their inventory

Completely agree (with customer service being usually unprofessional - other reviews). Perpetually awful customer service experienced as anymore than one person at this location (Danforth & Main *Shoppers Well Wise*) is a ''crisis'' for the staff. No doubt dealing with customers can be a challenge but a simple - ''someone will be with you soon to assist can diffuse potential negative customer outcomes."

Extremely poor, rude customer service! I was verbally abused by staff; I'm still traumatized. They never pick up phone calls. You never get the supplies you ordered. I'm tired of leaving voicemails to the managers mailbox. I'm taking my business elsewhere, where they have the time to assist me!
