Mama's Fish and Chips
Generous portion sizes, fresh fish, crispy texture. Handmade tartar (not the packaged stuff) is a nice touch. Great comfort food! Owner Nader is a super down to earth guy as well. I can tell he really takes pride in what he does.

It was on of the best sea foods I have ever ate, everything was completeAnd the tartar sauce was amazing and very good mach with taste of fishSeriously wowwwIt is on topAlso because it was too delicious, I got a fish burger after that and that one was wow tooIf I have chance I will go there every week

Hubby & I are always looking for good fish & chips whenever we travel and this is definitely one of the best we have had! The fish was well portioned & perfectly fried but the tartar sauce was the star of the dish! Amazing what a bit of dill & capers can do! The coleslaw was really good too!

I was really excited to them out.I love fish and chips and want to know the best in the city (this summer it's Granville island brewery).I ordered 3 PC fish and chips, and poutine.Fish: very goodSize: first piece was very large and consistent with other pieces people received. The 2nd and 3rd prices were half that size. Still tasty though.The poutine gravy melted the cheese curds and it was a (in a great way) hot mess.But if I want fish and chips again I'll go to GI Brewery bc I'll get to sit at a table is better value. I'd come back for the poutine.

Honestly haven’t had fish and chips this good in quite some time. Fish tasted unbelievably fresh. Capers in the tartar sauce is a nice and surprising touch. Good amount of seasoning in the batter. Fries super crisp, exactly how I like them. Keep doing this.

Mama's Fish and Chips
They were at our school spring fair last month and they were just great! The owner and his staff were all very friendly. Fish was fried perfectly, it did not taste oily nor was it dry. The portions were huge and they were generous with the fries, salad was fresh and the tartar dip was just right. The long line ups spoke for itself! Thank you for an amazing food treat!

It is the best fish and chips in the town and i tried it at the shipyard and environment and place felt good customer service is excellent and quality of food was good too the owner is also a very nice person

Wow! The fish was amazing. Nicely seasoned cooked perfectly. Not oily at all. The poutine was delicious, the cheese was super melty. Just make sure to ask for a little more gravy... The star of the show was the tartar sauce!! Best we've ever had, hands down!We got a 3 piece with an upgrade to poutine to share. It was so worth it. Can't wait till they come back!
