We have loved being a part of Cloverdale Skating Club! The coaches are fabulous and really strive to develop each skater with a well-rounded approach. Amazing attention to the challenges of competition and promoting a positive mind-set. :)

Both my kids have been skating at Cloverdale for 7 years starting in their CanSkate program and moving into the figure skating programs. The programs are all very well run and my kids love it here. Coaches are amazing and the kids love them all.

I was blessed to be a part of this amazing club for 15 years and cherish the wonderful memories of all the talented skaters, supportive parents & coaches and the endless volunteer hours from the executive⛸

My 5 year old daughter just quit the club after being there for about two months.A terrible thing happened to her while she was there. A boy in her group was always bothering her, talking to her and touching her. She felt so upset.I told the teacher and she said it had been brought to her attention that my daughter had been having some problems with the boy in her group. Rather than withdrawing from the program, the coaches said that they would be more aware of this situation now that they knew.After a week, in the first 30 minutes of the class, that boy kept chasing my daughter and suddenly blocked her way and she ended up falling. She was very hurt but she stood up bravely.The coach at that time didn’t do anything. During the last 15 minutes another coach was there but that boy still kept bothering my daughter. The coach did not even realize that.While my daughter was skating, that boy blocked her way again very quickly. My daughter raised her hand to shield herself but then that boy forcefully pushed her to the ground with both hands.A couple parents saw that and they were shocked.I no longer recommend this club to any other child.

My daughter has skated with Cloverdale Skating Club from Canskate through to figure skating level Star 3.She has learned to skate with the club but has also learned valuable life lessons such as sportsmanship, confidence and team spirit.She has made good friends and has had valuable relationships with her coaches at every level.

Both my children started skating with the Cloverdale Skating Club in their Canskate program. My son moved in the CanPower before he switched gears to play hockey.My daughter still skates with the Cloverdale Skating club in their figure skating program.All of the coaches with the club are fantastic, and great with the kids, and take the time needed with each skater to help them grow. Mutual respect between skater/coach relationship as well as between coach/parent relationship.

Very fun and friendly club! Always good times had here. Many programs and opportunities for grow your talents in figure skating.

Very disrespectful and ignorant management, and mismanaged club. When parents ask questions they put blame on parents rather than admiting their mistake.
