Shoppers Drug Mart

Constantly out of bags except the $7+ ones so it makes it really difficult to pop in after work now if i need more than a couple of things. It sounds small but it really affects the customer experience. Sometimes i think i only need one thing and realize i need a bunch of things but if i cant carry it out now, i cant get it which means ill be spending a lot less money here going forward. I understand getting rid of the plastic bags but someone clearly didn't correctly estimate supply for the new fabric ones, they were out of stock almost as soon as they appeared. I shop here and other pc optimum stores a lot and I feel like the points take waaay too long to collect. Also the new produce is horrible quality.

Today I had the best experience ever. Came to buy Clarins Oil for my sister. Beauty’s department adviser Kristal was absolutely amazing, she helped me with all my needs, was extremely nice , professional and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service. People like her will change the world. Thanks so much Kristal for making my day even more shinier :)

Amazing customer service. I have a few other Shoppers closer to me, but always go to this location. They always have stock of items on sale. All staff is very helpful and polite. I have had some bad experience in other Shoppers, so know the difference. Today I had another great purchase. A person at the cash register who happened to be a cash manager was extremely helpful and nice. Thank you!

Tracey that works in cosmetics is an absolute pleasure when she's served me many times at your store. She's attentive, very helpful, has always answered several of my questions about products & just the best at her job! She's always smiling, which is such an attribute when dealing with customers especially during this pandemic. I recently bought my favorite perfume called Fire & Ice " by Revlon at the Shopper's Drug Mart on Essa & when i returned home I knew the perfume had an off scent. I've been using this perfume for many years so I'm aware of how it should smell & I even noticed the color was much darker than the (golden color ) it should be. I know this perfume inside out again because I've been using for years! So the same day I purchased it I returned to the Essa location in the plaza with Meridian Bank & so on. The same woman that had served me would not replace it for another one

Possibly the world’s dumbest assistant manager. Yesterday I was shopping with my wife at the mall and she had to run in and pick up a few things.I purchased something at self checkout and put it in my shopping bag.My wife came up to self checkout and I start helping her check out.At this point the assistant manager is hovering behind me watching. Out of the blue he goes “did you pay for that?” Pointing at the item in my other bag.Hey no problem I think. Loss prevention is part of their job and he’s probably just asking. I tell him “yep I came through the checkout just a minute ago”.He completely ignores me, comes up into my face and starts saying “well what did you do it in the back?”No bro, I literally just did it three seconds ago WITH YOUR CASHIER WATCHING ME. I showed him my receipt and he immediately just starts walking away waving his hands saying “I don’t care I don’t need to see that”.If you’re going to accuse me of stealing a $1.36 pez dispenser, and I give you an explanation, why would you walk away when I tried proving to you that I didn’t steal?Again, loss prevention is part of your job but I tried TWICE to give an explanation and prove that I bought it.I’m was bewildered that a 16 year old assistant store manager would have thought that I would steal a pez dispenser of all things. It sounds like this isn’t the first time that this manager has profiled customers.I’ve already left a complaint with both Shoppers and Loblaw corporate.

I am very disappointed in the pharmacy staff.In less than one year I was given three new medications that were not checked for drug interactions. Each of the three new medications had drug interactions with my current medications. The first two times I was in tremendous pain for days due to the interaction. The third time I was given my new medication with no information sheet. So I went home and looked up the new medication and it had drug interactions with my current medications. Therefore no one in the pharmacy checked for any interactions!!! This could have been very serious or even fatal.The pharmacist is certainly NOT doin a thorough job at all!

The pharmacist, Natalie, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Though she couldn’t fulfill our needs entirely due to stock, she checked all the other boxes for customer service!

this was my first time visiting this shoppers and I was happy to visit because they had more stuff compared to the shoppers I usually go to. the reason why i’m writing a bad review is because I was racially profiled. I was browsing with my friend and the boutique lady kept staring at us like we were going to steal something , she then called an associate to come “help” us yet she didn’t do that for other customers. the lady came up to us and she gave me a dirty look up and down like I had something in my pockets. this interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed , I PAID FOR MY STUFF and left. I strongly recommend to avoid this shoppers if you are a person of colour , management needs to work on customer service training.

Came in on Friday. Clara (I think was her name, older woman) was giving everyone in line attitude for wanting to cash out with an actual person rather then self checkout. After making us wait for 5+ minutes, she proceed to rudely question every customer whether they were paying cash or not. If you’re not paying cash - check out yourself. If it were me, I’d assume people can see the self checkout kiosks in front of them and decided against it.Won’t be back to this location, I’d gladly drive out of my subdivision rather then deal with people who have no regard for customer service skills.

A spacious shoppers drugmart located at Essa Road and Ferndale. I really like how the store is organized, it feels like they used the space well.The first shoppers I’ve come across that carries catrice makeup ! They carry your usual drugstore and a several luxury brands too.Employees are friendly and helpful. There is a photo image station and post office located in the back.Self checkout is available too.
