St. Joseph's Portuguese Roman Catholic Church

An interestingly decorated church with a nice backyard

For those people that only seem to have negative attitude towards St. Joseph's Portuguese Parish,especially the noise that happens everyday? It seems that this church was there before all the New housing was built.So you had a choice of where to buy.Move on there is alot more happening around us these days.

If you're thinking about moving to the area, I hope you like loud music being blasted for over 8 hours a day, multiple times a week. I hope this circus gets shut down soon. For now you can enjoy an obnoxious marching band every Sunday morning!

We were recently forced to picket with our school in the area of St. Joseph'sPortuguese Church. They opened their doors for us to use their washrooms and come in out of the cold. Other area businesses taped off their walkways and store front from picketers to discourage us from gathering. Little do they know the future business they have lost in doing so. Thank you to the kind caretaker/staff of this Church. You know the meaning of kindness and compassions.

Can't enjoy my summer living next to these people. Can't relax on my patio or even inside- thanks speakers directed AT MY HOME! You people suck. I can only hope I live long enough to watch this place torn down for redevelopment.

Incredibly disrespectful to the residents that live nearby. They hold events outdoors with loud speakers, microphones, and even marching bands. People have small children and work in the morning! It is currently 10pm and they are blaring music.Have some respect.

all these people who are leaving bad reviews need to understand if you actually used this church and property it's a great place. for all you renters and new residents which is ALL OF YOU the church has been there long before y'all came to town and even saying we should demoloish it??? for what another couple 25 storey buildings? would you rather have that? it's truly pathetic. this hall has hosted so many stags and parties we have been to it's been nothing but great things for our community.

Very disrespectful can’t even answer their phone lines in a respectful manner wouldn’t use this church if life depended on it

Rented the church’s banquet hall months before our event. Called every two weeks to ensure the hall was reserved and there would be no discrepancies because I had been informed that there have been others who rented the space and were also double booked. Should’ve listened because lo and behold.... get to the hall the day before the event and it’s double booked. And our event gets told we can either use the back halls (not accommodating at all) or have nothing. And on top of it we still had to pay to rent the back hall when the error was 100% not our fault. The day of the event there are a bunch of random children who’s parents are at the church walking through our hall. The lack of professionalism at this place was disgusting. Stay clear and do yourself a favour by finding a different hall to rent.
