School of Rock
I myself am in the performance group program at school of rock and it is really awesome. It's a great way to make friends and meet new people. The teachers here are excellent, too. I started playing bass less than a year ago, and I've learned a lot taking lessons here, all thanks to my amazing teacher (shoutout to Ryan). I'm really glad that school of rock actually exists, and I'm glad that I get to be part of it.

This place is amazing all around from the program to the staff. I wish this was available when I was young. The programs are not bowing and focus on playing songs while learning about music. My kids love it and put on a full show 4 times a year. I have also reignited my passion for music. If you want to get your kids involved in music this is the place to do it. My kids can’t wait for both their lessons and band rehearsals. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!!

As a parent you want your children to be exposed to a safe learning environment where they can be stimulated artistically, be a part of a team, feel like they belong, where their successes are celebrated and where they are supported in every way, without judgement. This is exactly what School of Rock provides. The group of dedicated staff and instructors become your family and School Rock your second home.

School of Rock Calgary has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. She grew so much in her skills, her confidence and her poise. And made so many new friends! She has now graduated from School of Rock and is taking music in University!

The program is amazing and my son took so much away from it including confidence which at his age is great. The concert on the last day was a great way to show case all of the hard work.

I have both my kids (10 and 8) in SoR and it really is amazing how much they they learn and how much they have fun with this. Both my kids have a hard time focusing on things and keeping interest up on activities they want to try. With School of Rock this has not come up in the 3 and 2 years they have been enrolled. I have take music lessons as an adult and feel like if I had taken lessons at SoR style I would have had stuck with it. The way they teach just works so well. Amazing teachers and support staff.I can never tell my friends enough about SoR and how they should enroll their children.10 out of 10!

The instruction is fantastic and the shows they put on are a great experience for the kids. My son has been with School of Rock for three years, and not only have I seen development in his vocals and guitar but his confidence has grown as well. Thank you SofR!

Not all kids play sports. My son has finally found his people in a group of like minded music enthusiasts of all ages. What started years ago with the odd summer camp has turned into him being at the school at least 2 days a week. The teachers are professional (many of them still preforming) and have a great ability to zero in on your child’s personal musical interests. We are very lucky to be part of the School of Rock family.

My experience with School of Rock Calgary is top-notch! My son has been learning guitar and playing in organized performance groups, summer camps and now the House Band. It is schooling in the real life of being a musician - through personal practice, ownership and team work - and we are so grateful. The team at School of Rock Calgary is amazing and I'm grateful we found them!

We joined the School of Rock Calgary in 2017. Since that time, we have watched our daughter grow in not only her musicianship, but in confidence as she feels she has found her people. Last year was our first year as part of the House Band and I can't say enough about how fantastic that experience was for all of us. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, and the entire SOR team go above and beyond to find great venues and offer exciting opportunities, especially for the House Band. We love being part of the School of Rock community.
