Dr.Charles Oh

I have a mother on thyroid medication after her Thyroidectomy, prescribed by Dr.Oh. She has been on this medication for many years and we have noticed her health deteriorate over the years. We noticed she has been experiencing rapid weight loss (8kg) and also an onset of pre-diabetes. I’m a nutritionist and know that she has an extremely healthy diet and exercise routinely. I also knew that there is a connection between hyperthyroidism and weight loss and there is a close connection to thyroid and metabolic health and blood sugar levels. We asked him what the cause of all of these symptoms might be and he condescendingly looked at my mother, “I already told you twice before…“eat less sugar”.When I inquired whether it could be potentially a side effect of the thyroid medication (levothyroxine) or if we should adjust the dosage, he dismissed my theory and said that this medication has no connection to blood sugar levels and that she should continue her same dosage.I did some research and it turns out that on the drug information sheet for the brand name Eltroxin and generic levothyroxine specifically states that “Levothyroxine raises blood sugar levels.”I’m sickened by his lack of knowledge, his condescending dismissive attitude and how he tried to blame my mother for her symptoms.I don’t even know if the five star reviews on this page is authentic. It seems that Dr.Oh is an uncaring, profit seeking quack who only focuses on his beauty business rather than taking care of his patients.If we had taken his prescription, the long term effects on my mother’s health could have been deadly.

I had a great experience from start to finish. The staff and doctor were not only friendly but informative. Loved Charles! He was great!

I've seen Dr Oh a number of times over the past two years. I have always found both he and his staff very professional and social. No complaints whatsoever. I am very happy I found Dr Oh!

Dr. Oh is more accurate with diagnosing than other doctors I’ve seen. He’s very professional and explains well. His front desk staff are also quite friendly, especially over the phone.

Not knowledgeable and condescending. Performs exams that make no sense and rushes you out!!!

I will never ever go again. I doubt whether he is a doctor. 필러 잘못 놔서 피부괴사 났는데 염증이라고 바득바득 우기더니 녹여달라고 하니까 캐나다에 녹이는 약이 없다며 괴변을 늘어놓아 결국 급히 다른 병원으로 가서 녹였습니다. 늦었으면 큰일 날 뻔했다고 캐나다에 녹이는 약이 왜 없냐고 치료해주신 다른 병원 원장님이 무척 황당해했습니다. 본인이 저지른 사고를 무책임하게 다른 의사에게 떠넘기며 환자를 매우 위태롭게 만드는 실력 없는 곳에서는 절대 시술하지 마세요!

보톡스 시술이 쉬운편이라고 실력 없는 의사들 너도 나도 시술 해대는 것 정말 지양해야 합니다. 이러다 괜찮아지겠거니 하고 기다렸는데 시간이 지날수록 턱근육은 도드라지고 뺨은 보기싫게 패이고 있어요.실력없음 시술을 하지를 마세요. 환자는 얼굴 돌아올때까지 너무나 큰 스트레스를 받습니다.그냥 한국 가서 하거나 아예 시술 하지를 말걸... 같은 한인이라고 가보라고 한 사람까지 미워져요.혹시 보톡스라고 쉽게 생각하시는 분들 다시 한번 고민해보길 바래요

Dr.Oh was extremely condescending and rushes patients that are not part of his for profit business around lasers and botox treatments. For family practice, I would not recommend him.
