Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier Park dog park

It's a dog paradise there. The owners are really respectful. And their dogs are friendly. They play like children. I felt a wonderful community feeling.

This park is just as bad as la fontaine. my dog hates the big pebble ground and hates that its not grass. the dog culture here needs help cuz again, this is sad.

If you love dog, for sure you're gonna have a good time there, and if not well, there is enough space in the park to still have a good time :)

Love it! The dogs have so much fun when they're making new friends and playing around with them in the park. Also you get to meet so much new people who share your love for dogs. The park is equipped with a water fountain that has two places where the dogs can drink water and it also has a faucet for people to drink water from. Park is big enough for them to run around and there's also seats and tables where you can wait for your dog.

Great dog park with kind & playful dogs, but the gravel can be a bit off putting.

Feels safe. Two entrances. There are always other dogs but the drain of the water fountain is broken and there is muddy water around it

A decent size space for dogs to run. A good amount of benches and picnic tables for the many dog owners to sit and enjoy their time. This park is always busy, even in a blizzard. I agree with other reviews that there should be a small run for small dogs or puppies that need socializing early on.

Very nice dog park - only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is almost total lack of greenery/trees. friendly and convenient location.

This dog park has very diverse dogs in both size and age on any given day. I personally think that dog owners here need to be on better alert and more aware of their own dogs. I often walk by this park, to find a time when the park is empty or only has medium to small dogs inside. While the majority of dogs here are well socialized with other dogs, I have ran into a few who don't take cues from other dogs, and unfortunately have seen attacks happen. The incidents are almost always longer than they need to be, because instead of distracting/ stopping their dog, owners will be on the other side of the park, not paying any attention. With that being said, their are good times to be had at this dog park, but I urge you to always watch when taking your dog to any park. (There was a drinking fountain here but it has been broken the last few visits)
