My experience yesterday finding a dress was amazing! Jess worked very hard to find something I would love, she gave me a lot of tips that led to me finding “The One”. She asked me what I wanted! Really listened to me. The place was so cute and I would recommend making an appointment it gets busy! I would recommend going here the staff is amazing! 11/10 recommend and ask for Jess!

We needed to find a bridal gown that did not need to be altered and we had a tight budget since we had already bought a dress that could not be altered to fit. There were many choices in our price range that were beautiful and we found the perfect gown! The consultant was very helpful while giving us just enough privacy and a lot of time to make our decision.We were feeling hopeless when we arrived, but when we left we could not have been happier!

Awesome quaint little place with beautiful beautiful gowns! They have alterations and the staff was very helpful. It was wonderful! I found the dress that I'm going to wear to my son's wedding!

I would like to start my review by saying I had a great experience when I purchased my wedding dress. I am leaving this review here because Jackie Smith does not have her own website. I went to Jackie Smith for Alterations because she came highly recommended from the store. My experience was suboptimal at best. She never took my measurements, but we made a plan for alterations on my dress. I was satisfied with the plan but when I went back for my post alteration fitting the dress did not fit as I desired. There had been cups added, the bodice was loose, and the bottom of the dress had been cut in a straight line across the bottom which is not what we discussed. Since the dress has very detailed appliques, cutting the bottom straight across compromised the entire design of the dress. When I voiced my concerns, she told me that I just needed to stand up straight and she refused to make any further changes. I took the dress to a different place for a second opinion, and they told me that the quality of the work was poor (especially for the price I paid). I reached out to Jackie and instead of being empathetic or offering to fix it, she proceeded to argue with me and tell me that I just didn’t want to pay for the proper alterations or that I wanted additional work done for free. My wedding is in 4 weeks, and I am now paying for additional alterations by someone else. Needless to say, this is upsetting. This review is for anyone that is considering getting your dress altered by Jackie Smith. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! The photo shows the original style when I bought it versus after alterations.

It was such a sweet and supportive environment- the perfect mix of helpful and professional with low-key and relaxed energy. Even if I hadn't ended up finding and purchasing my dress (!!!!!) I would have highly recommended the experience. Thank you so much!

Edit: the owner personally contacted me and we discussed the situation. This store has both new and used dresses which helped explain the price variance. He was very helpful and understanding and very professional.Cute store. Customer service was extremely rude. Me and my sister were looking for prom dresses and we went to find a fitting room. It was very hard to find someone who worked there. After searching we found an older woman who was very rude and snippy. Granted it was a busy Saturday, but to look at us and say, “this is how we we do things” (followed with a speech in a rude tone) with a huge attitude and disgusted look was very disappointing. When it was her turn to go in the lady still continued to be rude and disgusted when she told my sister, “wow you’re lucky you got a room”. This store is second hand and prices were outrageous! Some dresses were new with tags, but to ask hundreds of dollars doesn’t settle right. They didn’t have any dresses to fit my sister, but it is peak prom season so I understand the lack of sizes. However, I was extremely disappointed with the customer service given by the lady. The whole store gave off judgement vibes from the minute we walked in… not what I expected from a second hand store. The store is cute and has a nice layout, but I won’t go back again.

This was the first and only bridal shop I went to looking for a dress, and I'm so glad I did. The ladies were so friendly and never pressure you to buy anything you don't love. The owner was amazing and actually was the one that pulled the wedding dress I ended up buying. I saved hundreds if not thousands and my dress was brand new with tags! They also have a seamstress who works there a couple days a week, Jackie Smith, and she did the alterations on my dress. She was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. My dress was everything I could have dreamed of and more. I tell everyone I know who is getting married about this incredible shop and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bridal or formal dress.

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish with Second Dance. I originally scheduled an appointment in December but ended up having to reschedule, the rescheduling process was so simple + easy + fully online. I finally had my appointment yesterday + it was SO FUN. The staff were absolutely wonderful, they laughed with us, supported my nontraditional dress dreams, + generally made the whole day feel special + fun. The selection was surprising given what I thought was a small budget! They had so many dresses available under $500 that I didn't feel limited in the slightest, in fact I could see being overwhelmed with choices without the kind guidance of the staff available to you. And the style options?? Being a nontraditional bride I did worry I would feel out of place or without a variety but NOT AT ALL. They seriously can cater to just about ANY vision you have. Hands down an experience I will take me with forever, I'm so excited to be a Second Dance Bride!

My mom and I enjoyed my appointment at Second Dance! It was my first time looking for a wedding dress, so I really figured out what wanted and what looks good on my body. The salesperson didn't try to push me beyond my budget, which I really appreciated. She really listened and gently encouraged me to try on things that were out of my comfort zone. As a result, I know exactly what I want now.
