On Side Restoration Services

Quick, thorough and responsive on the day of our flood and started restoration work within days of being notified our claim was accepted by our insurer. Onside staff were the best, and did an amazing job both in quality of workmanship and timeliness. We couldn't be more happy with the results, and are happy to have our lives back so quickly. We appreciate all their hard work and I would highly recommend their services to all those in need!

Very disapponted in the way this company has (not) handled the water damage in my mum’s basement. She’s been waiting since Nov 7th to have it taken care of. They don’t return phone calls, and don’t show up when they say they will. Seems like they are taking advantage of seniors. I would not work with this company.

We have used Onside Restoration Services for two major restoration projects in the last few years and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. They communicate really well, are incredibly respectful when they are in our home, and have a variety of skilled tradespeople to complete the job. We are extremely grateful for their team and very pleased with the work.

I would not hesitate to recommend On Site Restoration Services to anyone requiring restoration. Kevin M has a great team who are efficient, friendly and understanding. We had a garage fire at a very inconvenient time..Xmas was around the corner, the flooding across BC was/is taking up a lot of time to clean up and the ongoing labour shortage. They worked some sort of magic and had us back in the smoke damaged house just after New Years and proceeded to start on the garage restoration. A thank you to Brad, Jessica, Trina, Darcy, Kevin the drywaller, Jenna and the trades Scott and Matt. The magnitude of organization and work that this team did was overwhelming to us and is greatly appreciated. Somehow thank you" doesn't seem like enough! Highly recommend On Side"

A resident in our condo building overfilled his bath tub. Onside was called by the strata to assess if any damage was done. Onside charged for 3 hours when their employee worked 1.5 hours, and charged over $1600+ to put fans in 3 units. They charged for a drywaller when no drywall work was required. Ultimately they billed almost $2500 to put fans out for a few days. There was no damage done by the water. This was clearly a cash grab. Call someone else!

Great company -- efficient, good work, insurance claim well handled. I'd be happy to deal with them again, though I hope I don't have any more little disasters that would make it necessary!

Originally was supposed to have a different restoration company for an insurance claim and I asked my nephew who owns Vandine Construction about who to use and he said ONSIDE. He said he personally knows people who do the work for the company and they are really good. So I asked my insurance broker if I could have ONSIDE and she talked with the insurance company and they said yes. The insurance side of things is not quite done but through the entire process when communicating with Kevin M about wanting to do some renovations along with the insurance claim side of things he said he could do the rip out etc and also introduced me to Scott Walker the electrician who ONSIDE uses and we went with ONSIDE. So far everything has been very very good. The contact with the staff has been so professional and very friendly. The attention to detail is bang on. Kevin M, Kevin S, Mark, Brad F were all very good at what they do, friendly and interesting, they were motivated to do a really good job so the next trades coming in would have as easy of a time as possible. Scott W, Kelvin the electricians are really great to work with instilling confidence in what they are doing and providing thought into the job so that in the end we are getting what we want.

The worst company I've delt with.. they had the last 5 months to plant the job and finally they came and had me shut my business down for 3 days so they could ripkout floors walls and ceiling tiles.... they spent 3 hours in here the first day then couldn't be bothered to call or anything and haven't been back since ...my shop is now halfway thru renos and stI'll no word back... do not use this company if you have a time line or any other plans in the near future. Very unprofessional in their communication skills and horrible in their planning....like why and who would put a new hardwood floor in before the rest of the reno was done..yeah new hardwood then we'll rip the roof down and the walls ... right above it. . wow...the level of dumb is real.

Extremely satisfied with all repairs done here after a flood just before Xmas. They managed to make it here during a snow storm, and everyone who worked here in the weeks to follow, were pleasant, helpful, accommodating, very professional and all workmanship was of top quality. Thank you Denis, for your persistence and excellent result on the ceiling, Jenna, for your “magic” when painting, and to all the others including Mark, Jessica, Bella, Tina, Kevin and Brad, for your exceptional work.
