Emily was a wonderful photographer in capturing our newborn son’s first Christmas. She had come to our house for our shoot. Emily was very patient and accommodating working with our newborn son and our family dog also! I would recommend Emily to any family or friends looking for a portrait photographer!

Must share! Emily, was such a wonderful photographer to work with. She’s patient with families and also in getting that exact shot you’re looking for. She allows for you to work with her by sharing your vision from you’re first encounter and also does everything in her power to ensure you’re getting what you hoped for. We recently just did a shoot with 2 small children and Emily was great with the kids to allow them to fully express themselves while also finding the perfect angle to capture their best features. She’s not afraid to jump on a bed, bend down on the floor or maneuver her way into getting that perfect pose and picture. With children, this can be exceptionally difficult and I recommend Emily in being that person that works with you not against you. She definitely made my family comfortable from day 1 and went above and beyond when my baby was being fussy just to ensure we were able to photograph her on a good day. I booked with Emily Melo photography for a maternity shoot and I am over the moon impressed with her level of professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness. While I am usually one to shy away from photos, Emily made me feel so comfortable the entire process. Even before the photos, she helped me with any questions I had and was always quick to answer. On the day of the shoot, she handled everything with care and made my husband and I laugh so much the entire time.
