North Shore Dog

We had to board our pug Lolly for the first time and North Shore Dog was great. I love that someone is there 24/7 and they have cameras where you can watch your pup which is such an added sense of relief. The staff was friendly. We were so anxious at first to leave her but will be returning to NSD for any future boarding for our girl!

I've been bringing my Boston puppy Aggie" here a couple times a week for the past three months. The staff are great and the facilities are top notch! NS Dog met every last "Must Have" on my list when I was looking for a daycare; 1. Clean and safe facilities

We are a daycare and grooming client and absolutely LOVE NS Dog! Alice and her team are professional, kind, and treat the pups like they are their own. Since coming to NS Dog for daycare, my 8 month old has become better at greeting and playing with older dogs, reduced jumping behavior on people, and is no longer nervous around dogs that are bigger than him (note that every dog is different, but for us, daycare and especially this daycare was the best choice!). Their number one focus is on dog safety and enjoyment and I appreciate the frequent and clear communications when something pops up. It's easy to book daycare through their online portal and their front desk staff is always willing to answer questions and assist! I also really love to work and watch my dog on the webcams having a total blast!On the grooming front, we absolutely love Alice who has been wonderful with our poodle mix. She is 100% upfront with what can and can't be done as well as her recommendations for the best cut given his age, the weather, coat type etc. We have loved every groom -- our pup looks amazing and he always comes out calm, happy, and most important -- Comfortable! Thank you Alice and team, we're so happy to be part of your pack!

Our pup had an AMAZING boarding experience here! We were nervous about his first time at a boarding facility, but the staff at North Shore Dog was super helpful throughout the process. We loved being able to check in on him in the play areas with their cameras, and it was a nice surprise to see him on North Shore Dog’s Instagram stories every now and then. It’s very apparent that the staff really care about the dogs there. We plan on bringing our pup back for all our longer vacations in the future!

Alice always took care of us and our baby Jolene. Jolene went there as soon as she was old enough to. Not to sound whiny but I’m literally tearing up writing this (Jamie is great and there were a few others who’s name I don’t remember… you know who u are) The cameras keep honest people honest and we never had a problem. From my understanding Alice is still going to be doing grooming, though Jolene has short hair and we didn’t really utilize her (Alice’s) grooming much I would not hesitate to ever leave a loved one with her. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You helped turn our 20lb pile of skin into our 150lb sweetheart.

Was a good daycare before this clear shift in management. Before it looked presentable and now it looks like an old run down dog place on its last legs. Very dirty even on the walk to the door. We left our dog there for boarding with another family dog as we went away.I wish I didn’t because both our dogs now have KENNEL COUGH. Just watching them clean up after a dog goes to the bathroom on their free web cameras. It’s not cleaning it if you repeatedly dip the mop into a dirty pee bucket and smear it around on the floor.Do yourself as well as your dog a favor and go anywhere else!!!!!To respond to your attempt to discredit me, since I only have (4) 1 star review. I would say its safe that unless some business was so terrible I wouldn’t leave a review. It’s to make sure people are aware. Also every dog should be re evaluated after a long period of time so I’m going to say the refusal to pay statement you said is a weak attempt. Anyone walking up to your door will understand the cleanliness portion.I do appreciate you saying that you won’t be able to accommodate me in the future. After my review, if you didn’t get that feeling I wouldn’t be back then I’m not sure what to tell you. Also there was no complementary bath lol

They were super accommodating when we needed to get our dog registered for boarding on a tight timeline. Very clear that everyone working there cares and treats the dogs with lots of love and affection. Lennox was super helpful and I can’t thank all of them enough for making this so easy on us!

Our two dogs Bosco and Rascal love this place. The staff love them and give them the best care while we are away. We always feel secure that are pups are well taken care of and we can relax!

Absolutely love North Shore Dog, they are amazing with my needy Pomeranian. She gets to work at the front desk and “play” with other dogs when she wants to. Alice and Hannah go out of their way to make sure you feel your pup is well taken care of. They do fun activities and photos with the pups. You can tell how much all the dogs enjoy their time at daycare. It’s so nice to see the dogs run into daycare to play.
