Paradise North Pools

Dealing with this company was and is awful, I would never recommend them to anyone. They seem friendly at first, very eager for my business but when it came time to install the pool we got the run around for 3 months. The whole process was a fight. We were being promised every week this was the week for installation. The owner was rude made us feel like his time is more valuable than mine. He had an excuse for every delay weather, product provider his team etc. The company wanted full payment before the job was finished thank fully we did not pay until the job was 100% done. We are currently trying to get the company to come back to fix the pool bottom as promised. We are going on 3 months of unanswered phone calls and emails. Wish we never dealt with Paradise North Pools.

Excellent people and great service!

Think twice about hiring this company to install a pool. We paid a 50% deposit only to find out that they used the money to fund other projects. When it came time to install pool after weeks of delays and lies, they did not have the money to pay for the pool so we had to buy it directly from the manufacturer. They failed to honour the terms of the signed contract and installed 1.5 inch water lines instead of 2 in, provided a USED variable speed pump instead of new one, did not level the walk-in stairs during installation, failed to install a concrete pad for the filter and pump, failed to do the back filling on the pool and took over a month to do a job that normally takes less than 2 days. The constant lies and excuses made the whole experience so unpleasant but we had to bear with as we had no chance of recuperating our money if we decided to pull out. Furthermore, read the reviews as one of the owners and a family member (same family name) gave themselves a five star rating with great people and service, etc. Do your due diligence before committing or you may regret your decision.

Poor customer service

Please think twice before going with this company. Glenn the owner is impossible to deal with and makes excuses all through the project. He blames his staff for his incompetence. We hired him because he promised it would be done by September he ran into money problems and couldn't get it done. We ended up firing him and hiring another company the following July after we got fed up with his lies and excuses. Our yard was a mess plus we had to take endless days off work to be on site to supervise because Glenn was never there and there had been damage done to our property by their crew. The pool was never finished as he couldn't deal with the water coming up under the liner.

The company did a good job at installing the pool. They showed up when scheduled unless weather interfered and were reasonably priced. Their landscaping and interlock did not live up to their promises or expectations. After a few weeks I called, as I was instructed to do, when and IF I saw any pooling of puddles. I had no response to my concerns regarding the landscaping. Now about 2 years later most areas of the interlock around the pool shifted, in many areas 2 inches and more along one entire side. I believe they are competent pool installers, just not qualified landscapers.

They have been there 100% for me, especially when i wanted to change the plumbing on my above ground pool. They are very knowledgable. Thanks for all you help
