I do not have words to express my gratitude to Laura and Doug for their compassionate, professional and efficient approach regarding the death of my mother. Laura took us through the process step by step effortlessly and if we had questions or concerns she and Doug were always there to help. I would highly recommend Aftercare.

I cannot express how smooth things went with Aftercares services. My mother in law passed away and we were not prepared. She did not want a funeral so we were scrambling to find a good cremation place. After reading reviews, there was no doubt Aftercare was our choice. I am very happy we chose them. Unfortunately we are using them only 18 days later for the sudden death of my brother in law. I highly recommend them.Thank you Aftercare for helping in this very difficult time.

My siblings and l chose Aftercare because our brother didn't want a funeral just a simple cremation. I can't praise them highly enough. My father passed away in April 2020 while Covid lockdown was at it's worst. This was quite a stressful time for me dealing with this great loss as well having a newborn baby at the time. I choose Aftercare after a good recommendation from the coroner. I couldn't have been more pleased. Laura was wonderful throughout. She assisted me during these months while waiting to be able to have my father's service. She answered any questions or concerns I had with ease and care. John and his staff were so wonderful the day of the service. Very professional and made sure everything was done to my liking. Very clear and direct, something that I really needed that day. Having to use their services is during a time where its the last thing in the world that you want to deal with. Aftercare Toronto delivered as promised. The 2 gentlemen that attended and took my now deceased Father away were kind and very professional, taking a moment to offer our family one last chance to say goodbye.Overall, dealing with them was a smooth experience and left a 5 star rating.If there is any advice I could offer in this area. if you have any idea that a death is pending, shop around before you’re in the full throws of grief. That is how I settled on using Aftercare. You can pay 4 to 5 thousand or $1200 for the same service. Sure they might give you a special wooden box for the ashes but that's not what my Dad wanted.Finally, I am sorry that you’re reading this as it will likely mean your dealing with the loss of a loved one.

I cannot recommend Aftercare Cremation & Burial Service enough. My brother, who lived in Toronto, passed away unexpectedly. When I received the call at my home in Santa Monica, California, I went into shock. He was my younger brother. Since there were only the two of us, I had to fly out to Toronto to take care of his affairs. Before flying out, I tried to do as much as I could from California and one aspect was to arrange for the funeral. After calling a couple of funeral homes, I decided on Aftercare.I couldn't have been more satisfied with the way I was treated. From the first telephone call explaining the cost and services, to the arrangement of picking up the Ashes and Death Certificates at the most convenient location for me, to the posting of my brother's information on their obituary wall, Laura was there with me every step of the way. I had a very short window to take care of everything in Toronto, therefore, time for me was of the essence. Laura was efficient, kind, professional and helped make a difficult situation as pleasant" as it could be. And when she was out of the office for a few days during that week

My mom passed away suddenly at home last year and had arranged everything through Aftercare. I can say enough how wonderful the experience was. All I needed to do was call them the night she passed and they did the rest. I only had to show up at the cemetery to provide the death certificate and set up the time for her funeral. When someone passes, you are still dealing with the acceptance of their death and trying to figure out how to organize everything would be so stressful. I am going to make the same arrangements for my partner and I.

Our mother just passed away last night and naturally we are very distraught and trying to go through the process of taking care of the arrangements. We went into the store front to be told we had to do everything online which we were ok with. However, my brother and I had questions while going through the online process and called to get answers as neither of us are tech savvy. During the conversation, the gentleman (I say that lightly) was rude and told us that if we didn't like what we were hearing we could go somewhere else. Is that anyway to treat people that literally JUST lost their parent not even 24 hours ago. The customer service is serious lacking, do better. We took his advice and went elsewhere to receive AMAZING care and service. Thanks for the suggestion!
