Basic playground with lots of grass nearby. The skate park can be a bit much for dogs that don’t like skateboards though.

Lots of variety for a wide range of ages. Always a bit dirty because of the skate bowls and the crowd it draws.

As a general park, I'd rate it 3 stars, but the skate bowls not being too deep make it fun for our 8 yr olds to ride their bikes & scooters. The regular skateboarders can be intimidating & aggressive with the intention of keeping claim on the bowls, but they were willing to share the park after we stayed & made an effort to respect skate bowl etiquette. We made new friends through meaningful conversation about respectfully sharing this public place. The skaters can provide great mentorship to the kids on skateboarding, skate bowl etiquette & tricks. Don't be intimidated. Meaningful respectful engagement beats intimidation - win-win for everyone.

Nice little park. On bike route so it's not busy with cars. Playground is nice, benches, skate park, lots of places to hang in the grass.

China Creek South Park
Quite a large park with different areas for a picnic or a rest. A fun playground with swings, plenty of tables and benches, two skate bowls (shallow and deep), and a good blend of sunny and shady spots. Situated between Broadway and the 10th Ave bike lane - and just off the Clark Drive truck route - makes this a noisy stop with lots of traffic activity. Wonderful selection of trees. Cute and tidy community garden. No washroom though, which seems like a mistake given the amenities.

Poorly maintained. Bath tub and toilet bowl are for advanced skaters. Would have been better to have ramps and steps. Watch out for the grate on the bottom of one that catches the wheels of the skateboard.

Informal pathways wind through the trees of China Creek South, leading to Vancouver’s first skate park that is always covered in graffiti. There is also a playground and a community garden. The park offers plenty of space to relax or play a game of catch.
