The Village Manor

I DO NOT recommend putting your loved ones lives at risk here. This is a dangerous place. Too many hidden dark secrets the The Village Manor / Carpenter House !We placed my grandmother here thinking it was the best place for her and it all seemed nice and peaceful in the beginning but then we saw signs. She was neglected. Her room was always full of dust bunnies and spiders. I’d have to clean her room and bathroom. Her toilet always over flooded and was left unattended. Water was everywhere. Not just in the toilet. My grandmother was on a bed that had wheels and we kindly asked Wes to remove the wheels she the bed wasn’t so high and he said he would but never did. We finally brought it up to him again and he had removed 1 ( ONE ) wheel and left the other three in and my grandmother had to sleep on a slant for over a week. She would have seizures or big falls and we never heard of them.Wes would have fights with his wife / ex wife (whoever she is) in the middle of the home in front of the residents like no one was watching. Screaming matches. Fights. Wes would also drink so much. He has bottles of liquor in the basement of that house and at times would be sooo drunk, he’d throw up in the kitchen sink next to the food that was getting prepped for the residents.Wes and his so called wife / ex wife / gf ... would treat the staff horribly as well. Expecting them to do everything that involves house chores but we’re also told to NOT ATTEND residents because it wasn’t in their wage range to. One staff even found one of Wes’ underwear in the kitchen one morning.Please reconsider even LOOKING at this place. It’s not worth it. They over charge as well.My grandmother is in a much better place and we’re paying less there than we were with this place.If I could give this one O stars, I would!!!!!!Wes owns both retirement homes there on Isabella st. Both a block from one another.

DO NOT PUT UR LOVE ONE LIVING THERE. The owner of the house has been kicking a lot of people out there. He doesn’t not know what is code of conduct means. He been doing picking up homeless people and letting people living there for rent. Their staff doesn’t even care about the people live there. Also the food they serve most time is left over from the night before. He abuse resident. He also has a real fire going in the living room when come to winter. I have the picture save on my phone. Take ur love one out there As Soon as possible

Loved the place. It's no different that a family there. People take care of each other and builds up bonds through interactive sessions over time. It's been an absolute pleasure to be a part of that close knit community. If you are looking for a place to live in your relaxing old days, the village manor country living can provide that for you. That is what I felt for the time being there.
