Congee Queen
Congee Queen has been a favourite Chinese restaurant of mine for many years. It never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious every single time and it comes out FAST. The portions are large and usually leaves room for leftovers. Prices are reasonable and great in large groups. Can be a bit loud but it’s worth it. My absolute favourite dishes are the deep fried shrimp wontons and dried garlic fried rice. Always satisfies my cravings. I will continue coming here for years to come!

As expected, consistently good Chinese food. This is the nicest thing about the Congee Queen. No matter which location I tried, the dishes are consistently good. Just very strange that all the servers are in mask still so I can’t tell one from another.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the steam rice didn’t come at the same time as other foods. We had to prompt a couple of times. As well we asked the server to confirm one of the dish, he said he will come back but never did. Oh well!!

Consistent quality of food for all the locations that we visited so far. Food serve really fast and generous portion. We will come back for more. We love all the dishes we ordered.

Congee Queen
We arrived on Christmas day and so glad they open until 10pm. The staff was still welcomed us with a smile. The Cantonese food is very tasty and authentic. The Wonton noodle is so good and we love their steamed rice roll, so soft and fresh! We are stuffed and this place will always be our first stop when we travel to Toronto. Also, they take credit cards so you don't have to worry about getting cash.

This is a really nice Congee Queen. The décor and ambiance is more elevated than other locations you may go to. You really can't go wrong with CQ, they always have dishes to please everyone in your party and the price is reasonable as well. We ordered a lot of dishes for our group of 10, and it came out to around $30 per person which is very reasonable in 2023. Comparatively, I've spent much more per head for mediocre Chinese food in a less refined setting.There are some dishes that CQ just does so well - their sweet and sour pork, fried rice, fried pork chops, and snow pea leaves to name a few. I did notice they bumped up the price of their super bowl congee to $35 which is a pretty steep increase from before. We didn't order it this time because we had a seafood allergy in the group but I hope the serving is still as big as before. It's still something that I've never been able to recreate at home, and the size is so large that $35 would still be okay. Other than that, I didn't see any price increases for the rest of their regular menu aside from some oysters. That is very appreciated as that leaves most dishes in the $15-$20 range. For the consistent quality and more professional service you get at CQ, it's very worth it.It did get quite busy while we were there so it's probably best to make a reservation. Parking lot was extremely full as well, but there is a lot of parking it's just a few extra steps away.

Ordering online was seamless. Food was ready when I arrived to pickup. Staff was courteous. The dishes were tasty and of good portions. Will definitely come back again

Congee Queen is always a good choice if you want some delicious Chinese food. This location was very spacious and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.The food was not only yummy but the portion was very reasonable. Recently, we went there twice (lunch & afternoon tea). Their menu was full of great variety. You can easily pick something you want to eat.If you like Hong Kong Style Ice Cream Red Bean Slush, I think they have one of the best ones in the area. You can enjoy a complimentary free one with any afternoon combo at a very affordable price.

Went here for a quick lunch and the food was quite good. Some of the dishes were a little bit in the salty side but the price for value was great. Definitely make sure to get that breaded fried squid.
