The best service and dim sum ever. The staff are very friendly, the only place that you can have a delicious dim sum in Kelowna.@wesley yehYou are very suitable to go to McDonald to eat, no tip. 15% tip is common sense if you eat at any restaurant, never forget.

Shrimp wasn't deveined properly in salad rolls. Pad thai was not fresh and tasted off - could not finish. Vermicelli was good.Service was very friendly.

Gross. Pad Thai tasted fishy and had raw white onions, weird. Was very dry but the sauce was gross to begin with. Won ton soup was bland and had two vegetables. Salad roll sauce was like water and the rolls themselves was 90% noodles. Huge bummer.

The food is good, but not outstanding and fairly expensive. The service was definitely good, but again, not great. The atmosphere is pretty generic, but decent.I do eat here fairly often with my pops as we both like Asian food and Yamato has a good selection of foods from across Asia. I do struggle with the pricing though, $18 for a rice noodle dish with tofu and some shredded veg is very high - I would say this would be okay if it was presented beautifully or the atmosphere was unique or the service was absolutely top notch, but I'm afraid not. I can make this same dish at home for $4 or less in 15 minutes so it's hard to spend $18 plus tax plus tip which comes to about $25. When minimum wage is $15 per hour this is almost 2 hours of work to pay this off!!!

As a tourist to Kelowna, this is definitely my first and last time visiting this Japanese restaurant.Almost all the rolls have cucumber in the ingredients, and all the ones we ordered had a generous" portion of cucumber. There was no chopped scallops roll

I have not been here in about 10 years and I was shocked. No one greeted us when we came in, it took a long time to get our drinks ordered. They had 1 poor guy working all the tables himself. He seemed like a new employee. It didn't taste how I remember and I was really disappointed. There was not really any flavor to the food and the wasabi and ginger looked old. Not fresh. Maybe it was an off night? I'm not sure. I don't think we are going to try again.

Service here is absolutely phenomenal. The older Japanese lady is such a sweetheart. As for the food, it was the complete opposite. This restaurant may serve a lot of different types of Asian cuisines, but they are all mediocre in terms of taste. Sushi isn't bad but their gyozas are too thick and tasted frozen. Their beef teriyaki was too sweet and was ladled with sauce. Their udon wasn't bad but I expected a larger portion of noodles or protein for the price. The only thing decent was their hot plate. It was quite good and reasonably priced as it comes with a good portion of rice.I also got food poisoning afterwards and felt nauseous and dizzy for 2 days straight. Would come back for the service but not the food.
