Costco Pharmacy

Every time I come to this pharmacy, I spend at least 35-40 minutes waiting in line and for them to give me my prescription and I’ve come at various times a day.This last time, I came one day, waited 30 minutes only to be told they didn’t have my drug in stock, even though online it said my order was ready for pickup, and to come the next day. I came the next day, also waited in line, and they couldn’t find a label or something, and had to wait for another 15-20 minutes.Extremely inconvenient. I would not recommend this pharmacy at all.

The pharmacy app no longer works. A majority of my meds/history have 'accidentally' been deleted!

Terrible service at this location. prescription was supposed to be ready in the morning but still made me wait until 1:23 pm. Lots of staff working but standing and talking. I was asked to wait 20 minutes which lead to over an hour wait. Very frustrating experience. When i told the teller she completely ignored and started shouting that i was only there for less than 20 mins. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone at all. Would rather pay another 5 bucks prescription fee for better and faster service. Management need to create a better flow of people coming in.

This pharmacy is often getting our prescriptions mixed up, having to be reminded to place an order. Often their phone system, which says the prescription is ready, in fact isn't. You can never get hold of them on their phone line, it's always busy. It might be cost-effective but I'm not sure its value for money dealing with the stress each time I have to get a prescription.

Don’t ever expect your prescription to be ready o no time. I have to wait 15-20 min 90% of the time. And when I ask why I get treated like I did something wrong. I’ve left my prescription for a week and still have to wait. Only reason I come here is my plan prefers it.

The best prices and great selection of products. Costco is the only place I shop, especially during these high inflation times. Though the store is frequently busy, the customer service and staffing is always good. The people giving one star just don't know how to shop smart. If you go at the right time (within 45 mins of closing), it's much less busy and you can be in and out within 30 mins. Costco online also has a very strong selection of goods now mostly with free shipping. Don't even need my Prime subscription anymore.

No one pick up calls for hours , the system will hang up on you automatically , and the worst part is someone pick up and will hang up on you in person. You would almost think it's an accident but it happen more than two times in two hour time. I finally reached them. Guess what, they make mistake , and I have to call them back again , another long waiting on the phone!!! It used to be my favorite pharmacy but now it's my nightmare. Hope this review helps others who wonder why the phone is not picked up. You are not alone.

Pay a slightly higher fee and go elsewhere, this is not worth the wait time. This pharmacy needs new management and better communication. Absolutely terribly run, how are 4 people at the prescription pickup and still the wait is around 30 mins? One prescription and I’ve had to stand in line FOUR times to get the entire amount of medication. Sharon did not care that I had waited three times already and even though a different staff member told me to just wait at the side and not wait, Sharon insisted I wait in line for the fourth time (prescription was already paid for otherwise I would have transferred the prescription).

Similar to a lot of other experiences - even dropping a prescription wastes an hour - first to find parking in their lot, and then queuing up - while all this can be done on phone. But that would be only if they would ever pick up. These days I think they’re busy making money on the covid and flu shots, and hence don’t care about anything else at all. I called them so many times just to confirm if they had my prescription - when no one answered I had to come in - waste an hour in traffic - only to be told they don’t have my prescription, and my doctor needs to resend. Given it’s a long weekend - that just means I don’t get my medicine for the next 3 days. I have come to a conclusion that it’s better to pay the higher fees at other pharmacies and save my time and frustration - atleast they answer their phones, which saves me a trip - so worth the additional cost anyday.

The worst pharmacy in the Lower-mainland. Medications are never ready on time. Wait time in the que to pick up medication is over 2 hours only to be informed that “your medication is not ready, come again “ The staff are rude and unapologetic about the delays, and should be fired.
