I’ve been taking golf lessons at Lago Golf Academy over the past year, and the progress I’ve made has been fantastic thanks to my amazing instructor, Shiella Cowan. As a beginner, I appreciate her patience and her approach to educate me on everything from the ground up - rules, etiquette, and skills. She’s an absolute pro with years of experience and she makes it easy and fun. The advanced tools they have available, like the video analysis and launch monitor, help quantify my progress and makes it that much more fun. Highly recommend the Lago team!

I met Patrick last summer when he was the head coach for my region for the 2022 BC Summer Games in which my son was one of the players on the golf team. Several months ago, I spoke with Patrick and had my son begin private lessons with him. Patrick uses high tech golf equipment for his lessons in his Golf Performance Lab, which was an effective and efficient way to help my son’s swing during the off season.My son was only able to play 9 holes throughout the winter season, so having access to this indoor space and the equipment helped with solidity, accuracy and consistency with his swing. By the time junior tournaments began this spring, my son had showed solid growth in this game and his handicap index dropped from 10.3 to 8.1.Through my observations, I can tell that my son has improved his skills in every facet with Patrick's coaching. I have been amazed by Patrick's professionalism and style of teaching. He has a sharp eye that always points out the root cause and is able to provide effective methods to improve the swing. The learning outcome is effective and the improvements are seen fast.In addition, it is worth mentioning that Patrick's Elite Junior Program that includes private lessons in the Golf Performance Lab, video lesson reviews, fitness sessions and additional practices throughout the week, has helped young golfers like my son stay engaged and trained in all aspects of golf. I’m very happy to see my son so committed and inspired to improve under Patrick’s coaching and encouragement.

The lessons were VERY helpful! Sheila is amazing and I can't wait for my first tee-time tomorrow to test out my new skills. My only concern would be with the booking process and the lack of response when needing to re-schedule a lesson. Otherwise, awesome!

My 12-year-old son has been taking group lessons here for almost a year and still asks for more. The coaches make sure he is always learning new things in a fun and engaging atmosphere. They are knowledgeable and very supportive. The state of the art equipment help him improve and also make it entertaining. As a parent, I love the small group classes that can cater to their individual needs. I take comfort knowing that my son is in a safe place where they care about him and his progression. Their website is very user-friendly and it is so easy and convenient to book lessons through this site.

Had my first of a ten lesson package with Patrick last week and I'm already a changed golfer. I've been golfing for around 20 years and have never taken a lesson. I usually shoot 90-95 and have plateaued, with no seeming ability to get under 90 consistently no matter how many rounds I played or how much time I spent at the range. I finally decided lessons were the only way I was ever going to see 85, so I signed up.Within the first 20 minutes of my session, Patrick had shown me (using some amazing technology in his golf lab) exactly what I was doing in my swing, how it compared to a PROPER swing, and had given me easy and applicable adjustments that I could put into practice immediately. I'm not being hyperbolic at all when I tell you that in less than an hour, my seven iron was going straighter, had significantly better ball flight, and was going thirty yards further consistently. I took what he taight me to the range the next day, and to the course the day after that - and the results have translated beautifully.If you're on the fence about spending money on lessons - don't be. I can't wait to see the results after nine more sessions, but I can already tell that this is going to be the best money I've spent on golf in my life. Put off those new irons for one more year and go see Patrick.

Started with a slice, left with a fade. Patrick is a great coach. He uses tech and data to show you where the faults are in your swing and provides easy to follow exercises for improvement and to get the ball farther down the fairway with more accuracy.

Loved these lessons. Sheila was exemplary. Easy going, intuitive teacher and genuinely enjoyed working with her clients. The format was excellent with an opportunity to go outside in the good weather. Also the lesson area is equipped with teaching aids. Great value for the money.
