RONA Burnaby

Rude Manager!We normally buy plants at this location. But today when we are on the way to plant section we just saw a medical situation there so we are just waiting for the situation to be cleared so we can proceed in buying plants but the manager came out and rudely told us that ‘This is not a show,get out of here!’ we explained that we are going to buy plants that’s why we are waiting for the medical situation to be cleared but he responded in a loud voice “I don’t care!” and he is really angry with us. We are even 14 meters away from the medical situation so there’s no reason for him to be rude to us. We are also in management and trained to handle these kind of situations and this manager handled this situation incorrectly and acted emotionally. He supposed to be calm to handle these situations, not angry. I’m requesting for the manager to undergo an anger management program. RONA needs to remind this manager on how to manage these kind of situations properly.

This place is amazing. The cashier lady offered free paper packaging made out of reused cardboard boxes. We are talking about next level of eco friendly with reuse. First time experience and my compose worms will love. I am sure it's effort from one cashier Delta but you sure made my day. They need to prome people like this. Thank you for amazing eco experience.

Don't have alot. Was looking for a fridge so the cashier told me to go to the back corner. I went and was looking when a guy asks me what I wanted. Turns out they don't even sell fridges! Cashier obviously isn't too bright

I had a subpar experience at the store. The place was disorganized, and the staff was not particularly friendly. No one was available in the plant and flower section to assist with questions or provide help, despite many of the plants being unpriced. Overall, it was not a great experience. I purchased a mint plant, but upon arriving home, I discovered it was infested with pests.

Person at the aisle was very helpful. He pointed me to exactly what I was looking for within seconds. Female cashier was not engaged at all. She was too busy talking to a colleague at the front counter. There were no exchanges of pleasantries like Did you find everything you were looking for?". I was just another warm body who walked in to the store.Maybe I expected too much from a hardware chain ☺️"

While buying supplies for a large construction company, I met Aj at the North Vancouver Rona. He always looked after me and was a wealth of information. Recently we began developing a site in Burnaby and during one of my many supply runs, I ran into him again at the Burnaby store! After a brief chat , I cashed out and left. Later that day I realized I had dropped my licence in store or parking lot and took a chance and called Aj. He stopped what he was doing to go check the parking lot, as well as with the cashiers, only to find it right in front of their desk. This is customer service at its finest! I can’t thank him enough and I will always keep Rona as my supplier for all of my construction needs! Thank you all!

There manager Rob is incredible my rude. I was asking about why the display price and online price different and he said “we’re not price matching it’s not the same item and walked away”.First, walking away is rude. I asked him to come back and explain. The fact that you hire managers have no customer service experience is wild. Clearly good employees are hard to come by.

Back for the second time this month to pick up my custom order. Great friendly staff and awesome home improvement products.

To the woman who works there whose bday it was on April 18,thank you so much for your help and extra info regarding what we were looking for. Out of all the hardware stores I’ve been to,it seems like this exact Rona has the best customer service I’ve experienced. I will be back for sure. Thank you,I’m so impressed.

Staff is very knowledgeable. Tere has given me great advice on window film installation and on other products, too.She quickly found all the items I needed.
