Williams Food Equipment - The Chef's Store

Wanted to order a Cuisinart rice cooker and Cuisinart coffee grinder which would provide over $99.00 order and free shipping. Rice cooker only in stock, which was under the free shipping minimum. Thus I paid $24.00 shipping and could only order one item.

Brought in my 300$ benchmade knive in for a sharpening and the destroyed my handle g10 scales and told me that they couldn’t sharpen all the way down the blade and left base of blade untouched and took off way to much material on off the blade I almost puked I was so upset he said sorry lol

Terrible customer service, I've tried to contact them multiple times regarding a defective All Clad frying pan I purchased from them, and they just don't reply. $130 down the drain.Edit: after getting a response from customer service here, I contacted the email address they provided. After explaining the issue again, they offered me a $25 gift card. This is as compensation for a faulty $130 pan. They've obviously only replied to make themselves look good, as if they are making attempts at resolution, whereas they are obviously trying to get me to spend yet more money at their store, by offering a laughably small gift card instead of a full refund for a defective item. I'd advise anyone reading to take their money elsewhere, I've reduced my rating accordingly after this, frankly, insulting attempt on their part to look good.

I like your products and delivery program very much. I am not a person who likes to repeat myself, spoken or in action. I gave up trying to get through “checkout.” You e-mailed me to try again, though I was prepared to give up on making the purchase. In future you might consider possible lost sales due to your computer bumbling. Before I moved to next step I triple checked my info. I scanned my card. I didn’t make a mistake! I did exactly the same thing after your e-mail when it went through.

Revived the best retail customer service of my life yesterday! Bill is a great guy who patiently helped us for well over an hour. Very knowledgeable and personable. At the end when we were leaving he ran chicken out to our car. Great experience!

You guys are amazing. Record shipping and i just spoke to you on the phone and I came home shocked to see my new all clad kitchen set delivered at Christmas too. They show products “Stock” were it’s not. They need to order from the manufacturer so expect long or unknown delivery time with this company. No wonder why people are looking at big foreign companies when ours are behaving like that. Please just be honest with you and your clients and shows the real status of the product, something like “Special order” with realistic expected delivery time.

Extremely pleased with the entire process ...from the ease of online ordering to the delivery of the items ordered! Ordered on on a Saturday and delivered the following Tuesday!!! I bought a few items - they were marked as in stock and arrived nicely packaged. Happy overall.Shipping costs are strange though: $24.95 for regular Canada Post, then $24.95 for Canada Post Expedited. Not sure if this is a forced upsell but the cost should be different based on service standard.
