Started a work placement in 2018 at Fitness Fx, as my post military occupation I was pursuing was to be a personal trainer. I was extremely nervous as all I knew was the military after 15 years. I can confidently say everyone welcomed me like a family and made it an extremely easy transition. I’ve travelled across Canada and have trained in gyms from coast to coast. No gym compares when it comes to atmosphere, hospitality and the equipment.Fitness Fx is extremely diverse when it comes to training. You can literally achieve any fitness goal at this facility.The new facility is bar none the nicest gym I’ve ever stepped foot into.

This gym has CHANGED training for me. I am finally excited to train again because of the environment that this gym, staff and community has provided. So many amazing people that train here that do nothing but motivate you. The staff is super friendly and actually involved in fitness. The personal trainers are some of the most knowledgeable people within the fitness community that I have heard of as well.The equipment selection in the gym is amazing too. HIGHLY recommend this gym to anybody from just getting started with their fitness journey to advanced lifters.

I have always loved working out at Fx and now that I work in Halifax ,I got a full time membership and it’s the best decision I made, the staff is amazing and always make you feel welcome no matter what your fitness level is. I’m so happy to be part of the fx community this is great move for Sean he is an amazing owner and I’m very proud of his success. This facility is just what I need to prep for my first ifbb pro show thank you FX

I cannot say enough good things about this gym. Unreal atmosphere, high quality machines, staff, as well as other gym members. It truly feels like family and everyone is SUPER supportive & knowledgeable. As an athlete that just competed their first body building show, this is the perfect gym for growth, looking up to other amazing athletes, and overall just enjoying a top notch training experience. brb while I pack my sleeping bag to have sleepovers at FX.

From the friendly front desk staff, knowledgeable trainers, to the abundance of great equipment you won’t find anywheres else.Locally owned and operated Sean (owner) is just a great person. How many other gym owners greet you on your way in/out by your first name and ask you how your workout went?If you are on the fence, or intimidated to go in -reach out to Sean.I guarantee you will not regret it!

Had the opportunity to visit this gym for four days while attending a powerlifting meet. The staff, the atmosphere, and the equipment are the nicest I've seen. If you're on the fence about checking out this gym, trust me, you will not regret it.The equipment at this gym is by-far the best in Nova Scotia. Pendulum Squats, Pullover Machine, and some other rare pieces make this gym the Mecca of Bodybuilding & Fitness.The hospitality shown by the staff was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Hands down best gym in the HRM. The owner (Sean) is one of the sweetest people I’ve met in the fitness industry, I beyond love what he stands for and the work he does. This gym is wonderful because it’s a place that fits everybody! Very welcoming, inclusive, very laid back atmosphere, and there isn’t a piece of equipment you won’t find here. Making the switch to this gym is one of the best decisions I have ever made! Would highly recommend this gym to anyone, no matter what your fitness goals are!

I’ve only been going to FX for an about a month but i’m absolutely loving it so far. staff is incredibly supportive and friendly and the gym its self is stunning. such an awesome, non-judgemental environment! I already feel like i’m apart of a community! also love the small rooms off of the main gym! great lighting and great for privacy (as pictured).

I’m such a gym gypsy, always traveling and finding new gyms. This gym was AMAZING. my husband and I didn’t bring our own towels, but they managed to get us some! SUCH amazing service. Plus the equipment at this gym is next level.
