Acme Garage Doors

My Garage door was not opening past few months and I tried consulting many repair guys and almost all suggested for replacement with whole new system. This Guy ( RICHIE) had some repair solution for the door after inspecting and we both agreed to try. To my Surprise the door was fixed in just about 2 hours and now works like a charm. My Money to buy new system was saved. Good WORK GUYS... All the best.

Dealing with Richie from Niagara Falls was like no other. He was nice but did not seam to be the garage door expert. My garage has low head room, and the garage door ordered was not comparable. We found this out after the garage door was installed and in result it would not open. He then pulled me from work to come look at it to tell me the only solution was to raise the roof by a foot… meaning separate the rafters from the wall headers, jack up the roof and construct higher sidewalks to accommodate for the garage door clashing with the underside of the roof. Not to mention he cut the wood supporting the shingles to accommodate for the wheel pulls spring system, and went right threw the shingles and now I have saw blade cuts in them. Raising the roof was not an option for me and thankfully was not the solution. We then left it for that day to search for another option before things escalated. Richie was able to find special hinges which were installed a day later to allow the door to open. Although after all this he then requested more money as this was “both our fault because we both didn’t see the lack of head room”. This seamed unreasonable to me so I offered to pay some, but he insisted I had to pay all…. I felt like I was scammed and was just trying to make up for his mistake. Richie also never supplied / forgot the handle, and just assumed I was going to open my detached garage from the inside hinges. He said he would come back and install a handle. This experience left me feeling cheated and I have yet to see a handle.I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
