Beaches Bar and Grill
It was Father’s Day and we arrived in Fogo at 5 p.m. the Chinese restaurant was booked and this was the only other place nearby that was opened. Got in at 6 pm. It was very busy but we were served quickly and the food was great. It was a great meal for a great price, 3 people with apps and mains for $90. Very good and friendly service.

Good food and service. Seating for 36 people. Offer a variety of dinner style food.The restaurant part is open seasonally from June to October ( 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM)Bar is well stocked and opened all year. They have weekend entertainment including live bands and DJ. Open from 11:00 AM to 3:00 AM .

I've had fish a lot of places around the world, but this was one of the best! Every single element of the plate was done with care and love. Would highly recommend. The only thing that can be improved is that there were only a couple of people working. Would have been better if there was a couple of more people working at the same time.

Good value and tasty freshly cooked food. Friendly and attentive service. Home made pie desert was yummy too! Part of a multi use space and doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside but don't be put off by this!

The meal was ok. Pan fried cod was good. Veggies overcooked. Mussels needed to be cooked in a broth to give them flavor. Fish and chips looked good. Great service.

From the outside it doesn’t look like much. Once we were in and seated we were served by a very fun and entertaining server. She brought Newfoundland hospitality front and center. It wasn’t long before we found the food and drink was great. We a great reasonably priced meal with a great bit of fun. I highly recommend stopping by for a drink and a meal.CheersGary

Food was good. Had club house and pork chop dinner. Waitress was sweet.Whoever owns this place I hope you read this. PAY SOMEONE to come when you are busy. The poor lady was run off her feet - the place was packed - every seat was full - with one waitress - she simply can not do it.We waited for 30 mins before we got our beverage - 1 hour for the meal. It got to the point where a few local ladies who had finished their own meal had to get up and start clearing tables to help out the poor waitress out. With all the attention put on Fogo for tourism and service - as an owner you should be EMBARRASSED by what was happening there .

We arrived at the RV park laye in the day and arrived here as walk ins. Good food and service. Pan-fried Cod was very good. Would eat there again.

Beaches Bar and Grill
The Food was very delicious. The wifi was very helpful to catch up while waiting for the meals. I liked the front sh and chips. My daughter enjoyed the Cod au Gratin. Will definitely visit the beaches again next time we are on the island.
