Sam all of a sudden was vomiting and was going yellow we had no idea what was going on, after we had a blood test we had to rush Sam to Cavan Hills! Our estimate was close to 8k as well as a member of our family we have to do what we can to save our dog. After 2 days of hospitalization they still don’t know exactly what is causing the issue! But! The medication that has been given and the fact they were able to stabilize and have him come home is amazing. The medicine is working amazing and I’d say he’s about 80% back to normal. We still have to go back for blood work and who knows how long the medication will have to be taken! They did everything possible and the medication works! And the bill came in at HALF the estimate. What ever others have said they do not gouge you. They provide amazing service and if anything ever happens like this again we will be coming directly to Cavan Hills. Our family can’t thank Dr Stephanie enough for saving our baby

We took our 1 week old kitten to get checked out cause she wasn't popping. The vet was great. She explained everythingand the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a bit of a wait but was totally with it for our peace of mind.

Our dog Rosie required emergency surgery to repair a significant traumatic soft tissue injury. The staff took such great care of her, they were kind and took the time to explain and remained available for any questions/follow up we had. We couldn’t have been happier with the service we received and the care shown to our Rosie!

We have been taking our dogs there for around 10 years and we went to book an appointment and their soonest availability was September. Our dogs need their flea and tick medication as well as lepto before all our camping trips this summer. Sad to think after all the business we have given them that their loyal customers are such a low priority to them. They have to have taken on too many animals. I took my cat in with a specific problem. They gouged the price for other services that I did not ask for nor required for him yet did not even look at the issue that took us there in the first place. The vet said that she was afraid he would bite her. Meanwhile, she had her fingers in his mouth checking his teeth, wanting to extract a tooth for a mere $2,000.00. Really??? He's going to bite you while you check his throat??? You just had your fingers in his mouth. Did he bite you then??? They are a joke and a waste of time. Save yourself a stressed out and waste of time. Go elsewhere.

Though I thought my first visit here was great, my experience has gone downhill since. While I understand this is an emergency clinic and emergencies will take priority, my cat has been in pain with urinary issues while the office has been sitting on test results for over 24hrs at this point. I didn’t receive a call when they said I would, and each time I call they just tell me they’ll get to it. If you have an urgent (but non-emergency) pet health issue, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

This was my first time ever having to take a pet to an emergency clinic, and Cavan Hills was highly recommended by a friend of mine. I was not disappointed and they took such great care of my dog Harley for a laceration repair. I had to leave her overnight for Dr. Chow to perform surgery and she did an amazing job. I live 1.25hr away and have closer emerg clinics, but have heard such horror stories about them (404 Emerg.) and I'm so happy I made the trek there with Harley. All of the staff were kind and the vets were amazing. Harley is now home healthy and happy and I can't thank them enough! If your pet has an emergency, go to Cavan Hills!

Clean, bright vet clinic. Every interaction I had with staff was kind and informed. I was so impressed with the level of service I received in emergency care. Also, the price point was lower than what I anticipated. The people behind those doors are what make places like this bearable. Thank you for your compassion and care for my little guy! I will continue to use this facility and recommend to others.

The entire staff was very accommodating in our time of need. Our beloved Jewel took a turn for the worst and had to be put down. It was an extremely hard choice but Dr. Chow and her staff were extremely understanding and comforting to my wife and I and treated Jewel like royalty. I have never seen a vet be so gentle and caring for any of our pets. If we lived closer to Cavan Hills, this would be our vet of choice, hands down.

Phenomenal service!! Rushed my 7 month old boxer here after he ingested a sizable quantity of warfarin. Their phone wasn’t working so I showed up on their doorstep unannounced. They rushed us in immediately, without hesitation. I was incredibly impressed by their care, professionalism and top notch service. Don’t hesitate to trust this clinic with your babies!!!
