Called up a day ahead cause we needed a special cut of beef. Walked into an awesome friendly atmosphere.. the look and the design of the place just makes you want to buy. A staff that's knowledgable as butchers and chefs as far as I'm concerned. After the quality of so many grocery stores going down hill with meats, I will be bringing my business here. Shopping local is where it's at. Thanks for the awesome experience and see you soon!!!

great customer service. drove all around burnaby and new west looking for a specific cut that i needed right away to finish my recipe (Needed a ton of chicken skin for make a oil basting sauce) I usually have on hand, but needed more) after looking at a couple different butcher shops and called others, they had what I needed!. They even went out of their way to let me know if I ever needed more to give them a call ahead, and they would put some a side for me!!. Great Selection, Clean inside, the the workers are just Great to talk too! Lady who helped me on the phone was pleasant! Def will be back for some other meats!

I had a hard time finding someone to butcher my first deer for me after a hunting trip last fall until I called Victor. Right off the bat his service was awesome and happily helped me out right away. I dropped the deer off to him and his father and they had it done for me a day later. I am super impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail with the cuts and labeled packaging. I was also very happy to see the bones with no meat left on them at all, no waste which is very important to me and takes hours of meticulous work to accomplish. We have almost finished the deer meat by now and have enjoyed many meals with no complaints and only compliments of the quality and variety of different cuts Victor provided. Victor also followed up with me a little while after to make sure I was still happy with everything which shows a lot about him and his business. I can’t recommend him and is business enough and will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks again!

It was my first time ever going to this place after hearing the great reviews from close friends. And boy did it live up to everything that they said. The place has a very unique charm about it as well as the people who run it. I went their today around 11am and Victor was preparing some chicken. He was very friendly to me and my mom and told us about the special that they had this weekend(which was 20% off new york strip loin) but as well as the other things. I ended up getting the steaks that he mentioned as well as some double smoked bacon, pork schnitzel, black forest ham which he sliced in store for me, the house made sauerkraut(which I tasted when I got him and its delicious), some chicken things and sweet and something marinated chicken wings. I got my mom a broccolli and cheddar stuffed chicken breast as well as a lamb meatball. Well definitely be coming back thanks to the service as well as how the things are.

I Googled grass fed beef and came across Full basket butcher. The Staff was super friendly and I love how welcoming the place feels. NOT just any butcher-shop!!super clean and a great decor gives even the worst chef hope. best Sausages and the beef was amazing! No more freezing meats, I’ll be making a quick drive and will always have fresh meat for the BBQ from now on.Definitely recommend checking it out !!

Lovely little family owned butcher shop in the heart of New West. The owners are passionate about quality and customer service. The meat is fresh and top-notch. Look for the marinated chicken, Canadian lamb, and home-made sausage.

Full Basket is my favorite butcher shop! The quality of products that they have is amazing and customer service is so great. This is a family business and Victor and his family genuinely nice and very helpful people. I would highly recommend to try Ukrainian sausages - they are made in house according to a family recipe. We got those sausage for our few fundraising events and we always get great feedback about them. Another my favorite product in there is smoked salo (salo is kind of Ukrainian bacon).

I knew this butcher shop had been here for a while, but I had never stopped in. I had called ahead one day to see if they had a particular meat I was looking for and was greeted with an incredibly friendly demeanour and helpful associate. When I arrived at the store, the same friendliness was evident. I will be a returning customer now, and I am so happy I stopped in.

Just had the best first experience at this shop. The butcher was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He gave me some great tips to make a fabulous dinner. The meat is so fresh and cut expertly. I will absolutely be back and will be recommending this butcher to everyone.

This is a wonderful butcher shop. I bought a cured pork belly for a special dinner with my friend and it was wonderful. All of their meat is fresh and high quality.
