Emily was a great to work with during our dog's Puppy Prep Course. As novice owners, she answered a ton of questions not only during our weekly sessions, but also throughout the week via text. We look forward to working with her in basic obedience.

My spouse and I found ourselves a little overwhelmed after adopting our first puppy. Emily was great at telling us what signs to look out for, and reassuring us when behaviours were normal. She also had great games to teach our dog that helped a lot with her training.

The trainer is very friendly and nice but wouldn’t recommend.We paid for 5 private classes Via zoom calls.She didn’t ask to see the dog at all and really only gave us advice, For the first two classes. Our dog was having a behavioural issue, hence why we contacted the trainer.After the second class it got worse and we had to remove the dog from the home.The trainer did say it could have gotten worse because of the changes she had implemented for us. Not saying we blame the trainer at all. Because the issues were there to begin with. But the advice that was given to us by the trainer should not have caused the behaviour to get worse.We had our dog stay with a family member for a short period of time and we did our third class via zoom with that family member, the trainer and our selves.During that class she had suggested we get a new puppy and use our remaining 2 classes for that new puppy. Which was very upsetting.We chose not to do that, and worked hard with our dog and another trainer and have fixed the behavioural issues. We Did not complete our remaining 2 classes.like I said the trainer is very friendly and nice but Im assuming is unexperienced and not really sure if she knows what she is doing.

After getting a very clever working-breed puppy, we found after only a short time we were running out of tricks and commands to teach, and she was finding brand new ways to misbehave every day. So we signed up with Dandi Dog Services.Emily was great for assessing our dog's progress each week and coming up with new methods to catch unwanted behaviours before they emerge. Emily was great at recommending commands to teach, explaining why teaching each command is important, how to use those commands in daily life, and prepping us for hurdles to come as she grows.
