Was recommended this place by the credit counseling society. Everyone was friendly. I have nothing to compare them too so I assume they did a good job. Service seemed expensive but is helping me get out of debt which is good.

We used this office for a few years to file our tax returns while my husband and I had complex investments and for a one off tax consultation related to an investment property.Communication was slow, we had to chase on several items for a transfer which did not get processed properly initially and as a result we incurred interest charges and a sizeable fee for a phone call we could have made ourselves.Information that we provided for a tax consultation on our investment property was also overcharged for the time, the information provided was initially incorrect, and we were billed for the time taken to correct the error on the phone.Fees for service (while expected for services requested in addition to standard returns) were not disclosed prior to consultation nor additional post return follow-up items.While we expect it's standard pricing we found the joint tax return fee expensive given that we collate all documents and excel spreadsheets ourselves ($1200 in 2021).I would not recommend.

Years ago, when no one else would look into debt consolidation, MNP helped. I have had no problems.

Today I had the pleasure to deal with Lisa Hughes she is amazing at her job at Mnp. Right from the start when I called in asking for help she never judged me for one minute. For anyone who faces credit issues or financial problems I definitely recommend Lisa from Mnp she has changed my life forever.

Was present for a meeting of creditors for a bankrupt individual on March 29, 2018. I found the representative from MNP to be quite unprofessional in a number of ways. First, John the trustee permitted the bankrupt party to speak and discuss his personal bankruptcy. I suspect the trustee should be the only person to talk to creditors. This will at least control the talking and limit the interactions with the bankrupt and creditors. Since this is a very emotional and stressful time, the situation needs to be handled in a professional manner. When a creditor began to talk loud and was clearly upset at the fact he would now loose thousands of dollars and the bankrupt party did not seem to care and John the trustee said there was no way he could see the creditors get anything, unless the creditors paid him fees in the tens of thousands to recoup their dollars from their former employer. As the creditor was unhappy and vocal, John the trustee saidmeeting is over" the unhappy creditor cursed at John the bankrupt employer to the point there was almost a physical altercation. John the trustee said the the employee who just lost thousands " your a tough guy eh" and followed with "Tough little man" then he told everyone to get out.Now I understand John the trustee has a job to do and he is acting for the bankrupt employer. But

I am officially debt free! What a great experience it was to work with MNP! They made every step soooo easy! I learned a lot and I am ready to start building my credit again! Thanks for all your help MNP!

Worst trustee ever. I sign up for chapter 7 for 9 months and paid $240 a months for 9 months. I have no income what so ever and on my last month they switched my bankruptcy into 21 months I called and called for months and months no call back no explanation for what so ever. I really don't know what to do I am thinking hiring a lawyer.
