Nature's Best Natural Food Market

I was a regular customer for five years. That ended in March 2016, which is when this review was originally written.The owner or manager--the tall, greasy-haired man named Chad--stopped just short of accusing me of theft and demanded that I pay for an item, a deodorant crystal, I had already bought on a previous trip.He saw it in my bag while bagging my items, but for some reason didn't ask me about it at the time. He instead waited until my next visit and then ambushed me, attempting to bully me into paying for it.I was partly to blame because I kept the crystal in my bag to reduce armpit stink during my long walks (50 minutes) back and forth from work. What really bothered me was that he didn't even ask me to explain--he tried to tell me, quite forcefully, that I would be paying for it.

I love this store! I was very sick for about 1 1/2 years and I went here and they had everything I needed.My favourites are Jumbo Raisons. And peanut butter freshly ground right there in the store!

Great produce and competitive prices on vitamins and supplements. Best blueberries in town. Employees are nice and friendly.

I have been shopping at Nature’s Best for several years now. I’d like to think I’m a “ regular” :) I’m greeted by my first name which is pretty awesome! What keeps me coming back several times a week is the friendly welcome with sincere smiles I get every time I walk through the door. The entire team is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, happy to serve you and the produce is the best in Barrie. If they don’t have what you’re looking for you can be sure it will get placed on the next order. I have many favourites about NB but a few are: the peanut butter machine, (the best) once you have it you will never go back) the freshly squeezed orange juice machine, ( ummm, yes please), carry out, (seriously, who does that these days, NB does) The homemade fruit baskets ( great to give as gifts of any occasion) The attention to detail,(hard to find these days) clean and refreshing. Thank you NB for standing out and striving for excellence for your customers every single day. You nailed it! :)

Visited this store a couple weeks back looking for soy curls. I asked the young cashier and she said she wasn’t sure and for me to ask the older woman working on the other side of the store by the supplements as she might know better. I went over to the older woman and she said she also wasn’t sure and that she’d have to ask Chad. So we started walking over to where Chad was, in the produce section. On our way over, some customers needed to be rung out, and the older woman I was with stepped in to cash them out. So I very patiently and politely waited right by the cash desk area until she cashed all 3 customers out. Upon finishing cashing the customers out, she walks right by me and goes right back to restocking the supplement shelves - completely ignoring and disregarding my very visible presence. I could not believe that she did that and the way I was being treated. So, I went over to her and sarcastically said “thank you for the wonderful experience” and she goes “what’s that hun?”. As if nothing happened. Complete lack of professionalism, and judging by the other poor reviews - it seems that lots of other people also feel that they don’t really care about their customers and are extremely rude and ignorant. I’ll never be shopping here again. And my mom also had a poor experience here a couple years ago. So if you’re looking for a health foods store, shop at Goodness Me instead, at least their staff is decently helpful and won’t just ignore you.

Love going to Nature's Best. Best quality for fruits and vegetables and Chad is so helpful. Very nice to deal with.

Today was the first day every went in the store. The lady had no idea about the products she was selling very disappointing. The gentleman was so rude I will never go back there again. Customer is service is very important and this store has the worst customer service I have every experienced.

Had excellent customer service and found the staff professional and friendly. Enjoyed the great prices and variety of health food options! Also loved the fresh squeezed orange juice!

The store is extremely over priced. Owners son is a goof and has 0 qualifications or education beyond high school and pretends to know stuff about their vitamin section to make an easy dollar on gullible idiots who shop there. Workers hate their life and the owners son so I don't expect this place to stay operational in the future. You can find better products for cheaper or around the same price point as nature's best elsewhere easily. Also when I went in to investigate I've seen them purposely miss label their garlic saying it's from somewhere other than China when the garlic box their poor employee was unboxing said product of China. Don't trust a single label in their produce department as I'm sure they miss label more than garlic to scam you.

Perfectly priced, amazing customer service, fresh/quality products, I could go on and on. Nature's best is simply the BEST natural food store out there; highly recommend!!
